I'm guessing your getting that pipe for the right price, cause that is very thick and heavy for a cage!

Would it be better to put the oil return fitting a bit higher on the sump ( about where the hole for the dip stick is on the standard sump baffle tray ) so there less chance of it pushing oil up there. Or at the back of the sump on the drivers side so it's away from the oil in the sump or is it not that simple?

Hey mate, i done it on my 33 GTR it was a while ago but im pretty sure the plug on the indicators plugs straight into the back of the headlights where your parkers go. i deffinetly didn't cut any wires or anything. Not sure if a GTS-t is the same but if it is its an easy job

Yeah Arial, the joints are fused except the weld that joins the Y piece. Full penetration on the fused welds and it was also purged, the pieces were cut in a power hack saw cause as you would know its got to be a good fit up to fuse it properly.

So what was the go with the sump you might have? Do you have one and does it have a diff too, or just a bare sump?

Yeah it would be quicker and easyer to buy the bends but im going to make a titanium one for my car so this was to practice me lobsterbacking, and they look awesome

Hi Allan, How much do you want for the oil and water lines? and did the standard heat shields go with the manifolds?

In the pic the one on the right is the front, it has the o2 sensor threaded bit on top, the rear one has the sensor bit around to the side.

Ok the car is fine now, doesn't get hot as it's only got basic upgrades. i'm mounting the oil cooler now with proper ducting. I'm about to do the sump extension now for my new engine so while i'm at it i thought i would ask what people think of it, cause now is the time to do it.

Some good info there GTSboy, i was thinking it would be getting a bit messy with all that welding. So i was thinking about milling some slots in 12mm flat bar. I didn't really think about it being too cool, i guess if i did it i could cover up or bypass the cooler for the street and drags and then use the cooler on the track. So nismoid how long on the track are you driving for without having the oil get too hot? I'm not to worried about warm up time as the car is not driven daily.

Yeah i've got an oil cooler, just thought if it got a bit of extra cooling it's got to be a good thing

Ok guys i've done a bit of searching but can't really find much info. I'm extending the sump on my GTR and want to know if there would be much benefit in having cooling fins on the sump? Would there be much air flow down there? I realise that the oil is moving around alot but surely if you can get the sump a bit cooler it will take a few degrees out of the oil. Thoughts anyone
