  1. i got a gtx35 with 6 boost on my 2630 and the front of the timing cover is higher then the turbo.
  2. thanks guys! im getting my new crank back on wednesday, then ill get you some pics guilty. what do you think could of been the cause?
  3. i had more of a look at the manifold and noticed it has some extra welding in some places so not sure if it has been modified in any way. looking at the graph the boost drop is around 1.2psi or so.. i mean is that a bad drop in boost compared to what others have seen out there? and when you say it could be a badly setup boost controller is this caused by long vacuum lines?
  4. well thats good to hear. just wounder what RWKW it makes and what fuel? i just seen my R33 has a GFB manual boost Tee not sure if this is the cause also.
  5. its sitting on the floor waiting for my S14 shell to be finished. to be honest im going through court with the people spraying it as they have had my car and money for well over 7 months now, and the car is still not near finished. lots of hard earned money and stress has been pored into the s14. i just went and brought something to get my mind off sh!t,
  6. hi Guilt toy, i knew you had one on yours after lots of reading in the forums.. so im hoping the probelm could be the 3inch exhaust.. and or the cat as i just brought the car its hard to know whats going on,, what wastegate and exhaust system you running guilt?
  7. yeah i thought i could be the manifold wastegate set up. im going to throw some ID1000cc injectors in her add anthor 044 pump, change to the exhaust to a 3.5inch the whole way and add a Eboost2. then see how she goes on around 25psi.. if i still have boost issues i guess 6boost manifold and good wastegate will go on..

Hey Guys, i just brought a r33 gtst with rb3025 in it, motor has been rebuilt around 20K ago with fCP pistons, spool rods, nitto pump etc. turbo set up is a garrett GT35R T3 0.82 external gate. running ebay exhaust manifold & wastegate & 3 inch exhaust system. here is a dyno graph i got when i brought the car looks to have a slight boost drop, and very wavey boost line is this normal? or could that be casued by the shit manifold & wastgate? or the 3ich exhaust system? r33 dyno 5 9 11.pdf

  11. its just weird that i cant get a turbo that was released almost one year ago.
  12. dont know if anyone can confirm this. But i have been told by a large Aus supplier that BW may be dropping the whole EFR range due to 'internal problems" in that side of the business. apparently they have spent so much money on R&D , marketing etc and has cost BW lots of money. and the big bosses at BW may scap the whole thing. i know i ordered a turbo in march this year went back to supplier yesterday and they still cant tell me when one is arriving,

  16. no motor is still compete just sump, flywheel and crank timing sprocket removed..
  17. i am just changing the crank so i didnt want to pull the head apart. i guess ill take the rocket covers off and just put the cams at TDC before re instaling the crank. so is there any marks on the crank for TDC? do i use the key wedges for the pulleys or is there marks on the pulleys them selfs? sorry for the noob questions just wanna make sure things are right, thanks DAN

Hey Guys, So i just brought a R33 GTST with a RB2530 in it, the wedge holding the harmonic balancer has come loose and stuffed the crank so im in the process of replacing the crank. have the other one getting balanced etc.. so before i started pulling everything down i had the motor at TDC, but after lossing the flywheel bolts i have turned the motor almost half a turn without realising. THEN i removed the timing belt without marking it on the belt,crank or cam gears. so now i have the belt off and the tdc markers on the cam gears facing: inlet: 4PM outlet: 8AM just woundering if i should re install the belt?then turn the motor to TDC?

Hey Guys, i have a RB25DET Turbo kit for sale, the car was dynoed early sept2011 and made 290rwkw on 16psi with this set up. i have the motor out due to the key wege in the harmonic balancer smashing my crank.. so in the process of changing the crank and may change the turbo set up if i sells before its ready to go back in. the whole kit includes; 1x Garrett GT35R turbo core tag number 706451-5015 with T3 rear housing. all fittings are still in the turbo. turbo still has pen marks etc so its not to old at all. 1x RB25 Stainless steel top mount manifold no cracks 1x Trust style 38mm external wastegate with scremer pipe Located in sydney Price $1800.00 i also have availabe a full 3 inch exhaust system to suit this setup(r33 gtst), also have plumbing to run wastgate into exhaust... price $500.00 pics will be up tomorrow afternoon when i take some pics..

  22. well dont close it yet! im looking at running a return line off the bottom of the catch can into a T piece in oil drain for the turbo, and everything else as above.... Thoughts??
