  1. oi order one in march called up the supplier at the end of april - they still had no response from borg warner on stock so got my deposit back and went for this set up DOES garrett make a T4 divided rear housing for the GTX35? when i did my homework 2months ago there was not garrett t4 divided rear exhaust housings for the GTX35 turbo

  3. mate i understand what your saying, end of the day is i have not saved any cash by going this set up. the manifold cost me $100 more and i had to wait over 5 weeks for the exhaust housing and pay more then a genuine garrett item. so what your saying to return the manifold , turbo & housing?? i brought the manifold turbo & exhaust housing of kyle all at once,
  4. i wanted a true divided manifold & exhaust housing set up. which is ment to bring boost on earlier (blah blah blah) anyways my uncle is coming over on the weekend to have a look and see what options we have with the housing.

  6. well i rang kyle from 6 boost and he said he has sold around 15 of these set ups (not fitted any) so not sure what other people have done. ATP is not a budget exhaust housing if anything it cost more then the genuine garrett one,
  7. its an ATP 1.06 divided rear housing and a 6boost divided manifold..... $3400 later and the shit dont even fit..
  8. i trial fitted my manifold/turbo setup the other night. and you are RIGHT! it is a **milkshake** to fit. here are some pics of the bolts that look impossible to do up unless we grint some of the exhaust housing.... what your thoughts guys?

  11. if you honestly need them just do a google search and ring/email every single shop you find. this is what i would do, even email ARIAS direct? might find they have a set there/ or being made as we speak air express ahould only take 5-7days max?
  12. Yes, but the discussion is regarding them defecting us after we have spent lots of time & money to make these cars legal for engineering / emissions.
  13. you could drop the exhaust from the cat and do a run with an open exhaust to see if the cat is a restriction?
  14. in Sydney you can go for the "im240" test at the EPA for no cost. you need to do this to have an intercooler engineered. when it comes to top mount turbos, after market intakes, intercoolers, wastegates, BOV's as long as everything is plumbed correctly and the car is passing emissions there is no reason why it can not be engineered. obvisouly anything adjustable E.G Fuel reg, computers & controllers "should not be passed as it can be "adjusted" a roll cage can be engineered it need to have certin clearance of drivers/ passangers head in accident etc. most things can be engineered it just comes done to how its done
  15. ill trial fit the turbo an make some lines up on the weekend and let you know how i go, with the rear housing only bolted on the manifold it sits atleast 10mm lower then the HKS one i had
  16. or just custom make the mounts so the sump is as low as it can sit on the steering colum then work out if you still need to cut the bonnet. my Rb2630 went into the s14 with no bonnet/ hinges mods. it has a dry sump on it and the sump is 4mm off hitting the steering colum, and we had to solid mount the motor to ensure no twisting..

  19. yeah its a RB30, 26 head forgot to mention that - thought we were in the RB30 section im will be talking to a few tuners im in sydney so it will be out of JEM/Powertune/unigroup still probly 4-5months off from any dyno time quick question guys would a 3 1/2 inch dump to 4inch cat back be over kill for my set up? OR should i just stick to 3 1/2 inch the whole way?

  21. yeah leaning on it shouldnt be a problem running; cp 9.0:1 pistons nitto rods dry sump set up full balanced engine from harmonic balancer to clutch pressure plate jim berry clutch ported head tomei springs drop in cams its in a silvia to and going to be on E85 cant wait been building it for 4 YEARS! the pic is with the normal GT35 turbo that i sold
  22. my GTX35 with t4 1.06 split rear housing just arrived with my 6 boob manifold YAY now just a few months on mucking around and ill have some numbers
  23. quick question, is the Bosch 044 external pumps ok to use with e85? experiance anyone?
