id rather higher CR with lower boost.
of course you need a good tuner & E85 to make it work
it is a street car so this thing would be so much better to drive with higher CR...
i passed emissions in a RB2530 using a haltech P2000..
i originally had a microtech but that failed big time...
took me 3 goes to pass the test though..
im in sydney
no doubt you will be using a 4inch exhaust & with cams like your talking 280's/290's you will not be able to drive on the street with much comfort of knowing every single person can hear you and the gate hasnt even cracked yet...
272's will easily do the job with that turbo & the supporting mods you have.. look at the Rb26 / Rb30 threads..
dont forget the bigger cams you go the lower the CR will be. make sure the engine builder calculates the CR before any parts are ordered.
instead of shaving head to raise the CR get some custom pistons made up.
you need 9.5:1-10:1 CR with e85
i got 2 runs in & my first time at WSID.
i short shifted into 2nd & 3rd on the 10.8 pass.
so the mph will rise if we hold out gears longer but traction was an issue...
i got before & after dyno graphs on the GT35R & GTX35R...
all i can say is the GT35R @ 112Klms makes 145rwkw
GTX35R @112klms makes 225rwkw
Torque is a much flatter / longer
i havnt used delfi in the pass, but when i looked into it the cost of 1 single boost gauge with control boxes etc was way to expensive.
brought a Eboost 2 for $645 it does both boost gauge & controller.
traction well only thing panned is M/T 275's
yeah twin scroll set up with ATP rear housing.
Might look at changing rear housing or turbo soon cause im worried about the rear housing under high temp..
Should i be worried??
