Streamlining Speed Limits In Nsw...finally
hamiltonau replied to hamiltonau's topic in General Automotive Discussion
yeah gotta admit throwing rotten fruit at bogan scum like that would make for an entertaining afternoon, we're not heading into 'becoming as bad as them territory' though are we? Meh stuff it, i would still vote for it. oh and ironically i caught some of that awful show ACA tonight, they had a segment on the damage it does to a child when you vilify them in public. eh? some mom in penrith had dragged their kid to the playground with "i am a thief dont trust me' written on a sandwich board. apparently busted for the umpteenth time shoplifting and she didnt know what else to do..good on her i say. -

Motive #12 Video Trailer!
hamiltonau replied to Black Widow's topic in General Automotive Discussion
^^ ok pity someone post the link when its on a bit torrent site please... -
Well Howdy Y'all! This will be an unofficial gathering of anyone who wants to turn up and share a beer and some tales from the frontlines of owning a Skyline/performance car and anything else that comes up. We managed a grand total of 3 SAU'ers and one hanger on last time so hoping to improve those numbers this Saturday. Already 4 or so confirmed but the more the merrier, plenty of parking at Broadway shopping centre (3 hours free) before crossing the road to the lansdowne.. 7pm till late if its too loud/busy we can also head over to the Max Brenner or the pub under the shopping centre but meeting place is.. http://www.thelansdowne.com.au/ 2-6 City Road Chippendale NSW 2008 (02) 9211 2325

not sure stocks would do it or reach maximum embarrassment for these people in the 21st Century, maybe force them to post all their crimes and how much of a douchebag they are on their facebook pages? Also force them to 'like' NAMBLA and a few other groups guaranteed to raise their popularity among their thug friends.. yeah your right Marc about the differing speeds, as long as people follow the rules of commonsense and keep to the left and out of my way then it would be work..unfo i cant see my idealism being practical in real life -
lol, Gold! i remember seeing some hotties in kimono's on an Ignition DVD segment on an SAU cruise, think it was the 25th anniversary of the 32 or something. Why dont we get those everytime? except at the next one they rip the traditional get up off halfway through the lunch break and dive into the jelly/chocolate pool...

nice video Matt, im guessing thats your avatar thats in the video? nice ride man, seem to know how to steer around there so im guessing it wasnt your first time on the track. Nice placement of the go pro too, suction cup to the inside of the window, wanted to do same myself but i think i would have had to flip the picture upside down in editing to make it watchable, did you have to do same?

Laughed out loud at this, im sure your right and as others have said.. would thin the herd a little and IMHO for the better..especially in Gympie now to my seemingly silly opening point.. I know its an extreme position to want no limits at all but there is some logic to it. I forget the scientific term but it was something to do with people subconsciously perceiving risks to be too low with all the nanny laws/safety restraints in place and automatically adjusting their behaviour until it was risky enough to be interesting. Only a pub analysis here but i think there is some validity to everyone driving with a bit more attention to detail and to actual road conditions if arbitrary things like speed limits, stop signs, lane markings and other pointless frippery are done away with. an experiment was done a few years back where all road markings, speed limits and so on was removed in a medium sized German town and the accident rate dropped by a huge marging as people were actually paying attention to what the $% they were doing instead of just focusing on their GPS/ipod/mobile phone/screaming infant in the back seat.. the best i can do for a citation is 'some old issue of top gear' but it was legit and reminded me of another article i had read by James May about a railway crossing in Canada that had trees going right up to the barrier so you needed to pull up at the lights before you could even see a train coming. In a safety minded initiative the trees were removed up to a hundred or so metres on either side of the tracks providing approaching cars with some idea of whether a train was actually approaching or not. Incidents then swiftly tripled at the site and baffled investigators eventually worked out people could now spot the fast moving train and half the time would attempt to outrun it with pretty obvious results. just one example of good intentions paving the road to hell..literally in this case for some drivers.. end thread/ -
now your talking! will this choco factory allow it as long as some kind of release form is signed?

I Wanna Make A Funny Video, I Can Has Help?

naah thats just plain silly man seriously how would it not be obvious its missing the rear half? im seeing how my idea reads as ghey but i still think it would look great if done right.. -
yeah you would be surprised how many like it though, cant please everyone all the time of course.. as long as its kept low enough to hear the voice over and short enough not to turn it into a music video? if you watch any commercial channel, they pretty much all go to ad breaks with fast techno ish music, im thinking the old 'i like to move it, move it' with sports tonights basketball, montage scenes of 'exciting' destinations on Getaway etc etc. As much as its not in everyones CD collection techno is here to stay and sometimes the only choice to add the right mood/vibe to a scene. Least you kept the dyno segment au naturel, imagine the hate you would have got if you had swamped that with bass

I like the doof doof! oh and i like that the first image there shown as a still in the thread of the R33 has convinced me to get the side and rear skirts in the classifieds here for mine. Improves the look a hundredfold (and lets be honest, R33's need all the help they can get in the looks department..)

I Wanna Make A Funny Video, I Can Has Help?

ok its august and i was feeling guilty about not getting the ball rolling on any of this yet so i thought i would at least stage a thread revival and annoy everyone with it again Was jogging to some phat beats and thought it would be punchier to have a bunch of ninjas in the back of one Stagea in suits which MATCH the colour of the car for added cheesiness and then the same thing with the lead bogan mobile.. so i need someone willing to volunteer one of each car and tell me what colour their car is so i can order the outfits (have some taxback left over..0. basic storyline is this.. 1.light goes green.at busy intersection and Stag doesnt move off fast enough, bogan sedan gives it the horn and curses, gives it the finger.. 2. stag pops rear hatch and out pop as many damn ninjas in matching outfits as we can get who surround the bogan sedan.. 3. both cars start playing the same awesome music track at full blast at the same time while the bogan passengers jump out, rip off their shirts to reveal their own car matching ninja outfit and a few more suddenly appear out of the crowd on the footpath (im still stuck on corner of george and liverpool for ultimate shock/production value) 4. A few choreographed fighting moves are exchanged which are almost like dance moves, as much in time to the music as possible..whole thing should be simple, like only a dozen or so movements to keep it short, sweet and simple. Every pair doing the same sequence. 5. lights cycle through to next green or moves are played through to their conclusion, people jump back in cars/crowd and walk/drive off as if nothing happened. Win? oh and before anyone asks, no the school holidays arent back on..I just never grew up. -
oh ok, i didnt get the reference..dont usually pack heat either unless im on a mission. A mission....impossible!
