if you have the readies for it why not soup up something a little different? like a Delorean or an imported Crown vic and make it look like a legit NYPD cruiser... theres my dreams outed anyway..

yeah saw a Stag at least twice as big as the doe i actually hit bounding off into the distance so it could have been a lot worse, last time i take the lead though..yeah Matt it really shocked me how 'new' the car looked with the fresh headlights. i hope they stay shiny for as long as possible.. i know the rims only have a week or so till they are as black as soot again

Damn Nee-san, almost exactly one month later and its fixed. talk about on the money...looks good though! the new headlights look amazing and its nice to finally have a car that doesn't look like it just trundled off a demolition derby track (even before the accident it was a bit rough). so other than the long wait its a pretty good result!

yup picking up car tomorrow and hope to find someone to help me fit new bonnet over the wknd, old mate who sold it to me did so due to it being defected in Qld...lets hope they are friendlier down here..will keep my eyes peeled for you RB25PWR...

so like found a recent edition of 'Tarmac' and thought these shots of its in car video camera review would be relevant to this thread.. ' bit exxy no? this is the one i just got, yet to use it but possibly this wknd.. and last but not least another one i have but am not too fond of. THe GoPRO! review has it right about the tricky lcd menu screen but doesnt mention that every other SD card has compatibility issues and how easy it is to break the supplied mounts..ordered a double suction cup unit with the drift camera above as the gopro single suction jobbie keeps flying off the car..

LOL hes back! lurking all this time or just popped in and noticed the defect thread? somehow i have been rolling around the city with a heavily modified skyline for about 4 years now, not had one cop ask to look under the bonnet or even raise an eyebrow at the loud 'zorst. I have assumed this is due to me being in the CBD, bondi junction, paddo area and the cops in this part of town not giving too much of a flying f** about that kind of thing. I keep hearing about people getting defected and they always seem to be out in the burbs, does this sound about right? throwing a very defectable CF bonnet on this week so i guess i will be putting this theory on the line somewhat..

i think your pretty silly not to buy privately and with your own savings anyway, so no sympathy for this guy even though he always had some nice eye candy in his windows..will miss that i guess.

indeed, and agree marc, some areas need limits esp school zones as long as clearly marked etc. simplify things and make urban area's a flat 60 in daylight hours, a bit higher after say 8pm. As for freeways, ...go nuts.

Marulan is especially hard to get good shots from unless your prepared to go bush and hit some of the far corners of the track, you got some great shots of Skylines doing what they were made to do. Looks like there is a 33gtst s2 just like mine there too, at least on the dry day that you went? Never driven there in the wet but had a few wakefield days while it was raining and for all the fun i find it far too unpredictable (and im not the only as evidenced by your blooper reel) whereas on a dry track you can really hone your skills and find out what the car is capable of. Thanks for the heel and toe lessons but nothing beats practice, practice practice!

probably too late for that kid anyway, i remember racking some comics when i was 12 or so from a newsagents. lol the old, hide 3 or 4 in a giant magazine i am buying..kid at the counter just lifted the magazine up by the spine and out they all fell. I was all like..."wow how did they get there?!' he was all like...."you better wait here son.." cops came and chewed me out, dad belted me, newsagent owner let me keep my paper run job but only after a big dressing down..never did anything like it again! bring back the fear i say. these kids today, they have none.
