  1. I've got a dyno plot, but I don't think it has AFRs. Only boost. I'll have a look quickly.
  2. Yes I've seen that post, however you must have revised the design of the 6-bolt flange adapter on your turbossince mine was made, as mine has not been milled oout to anywhere near the size of his. That said, I agree with the point that the turbo hasn't changed between the 2 tunes and therefore can't be the reason for loss of power. I will have a look at the tune.
  3. Perhaps, but the JJR dump pipe is being used on a lot of setup making substantially more power than me. In any case, it's definitely nota restriction in comparison to the 6-bolt flange adapter on the turbo. I actually had the dump pipe off while I was doing the cams and was going to grind it out to match the gasket. However when I got it off, I found that the dump pipe opening was far bigger than the opening on the flange adapter on the turbo. Perhaps this is an issue?
  4. Decided I'm not gonna bother. Car is much slower after the last tune, would just be a waste of time/money. Have a good time guys.
  5. Its slower haha. I think I'd struggle to get 105mph.
  6. Yeh, I'd be willing to give it a go if it wasn't such an expensive exercise. The whole underpowered thing seems to have always been around on mine. Even on the stock turbo, I was only making 220rwhp @14psi. Then both G2's that I used only made 295rwhp. I had put that down to the stock ECU pulling timing and fuel, but now I don't know... It definitely feels slower now. It feels like my previous low boost setting. Quieter too.
  7. Thanks mate, definitely appreciate any input as I'm completely stumped. Nothing crushes motivation more than being so sure you have finally found the problem, only to go even further backwards. Unfortunately, my tuner said the car didn't miss a beat and was really easy to tune. It behaved perfectly, didn't show any signs of anything being wrong. If I hadn't told him that it was 30hp down from its last tune and almost 100hp down from where I expected it to be then he would have thought it went really well.
  8. 321rwhp @20psi. 4psi more boost has got me 30hp less than my previous tune. No symptoms this time. Tuner double checked my cam timing, said I got it spot on. He even tried playing with the exhaust cam gear, but best results were where I had it. Set base ignition timing before it went on the dyno. IAT's are fine, not getting hot. It had no problems taking boost, it wasn't misfiring, it had plenty of fuel. It just doesn't make power. And I'm stumped.
  9. Just got the call, on my way to pick it up...
  10. Lol. More likely he sat on limiter for a bit long and smashed the oil pump gears.
  11. Also issues with the customer service apparently.
  12. Nah man, Hyperdrive. Garage 101 was good, but they're so far away from me.
  13. Especially a dyno shed constructed solely to make shit quiet. Its so weird going in there and having a conversation, sorta sounds like you're under water. Yeh cute it's 2:20 here.
  14. Nah, it's external gate. Tuner can't tune externally gated cars until after 3. Apparently it's over the noise limits of an industrial area...
  15. I doubt it. I'm guessing somewhere around 380. If the cams are right.
  16. Just dropped car off at the tuner. Said he will take it up to 20psi if it will take it. But he has never seen a cam need to be moved 8 degrees. So, gonna be nervous all day until 5pm, wondering what I could have done wrong when I degreed the cams...
  17. All three of them? 2 water temp sensors in different places, plus the stock temp sensor. Oil temp is also reading colder.
  18. Hmm, after a bit of reading I gather shimming is much like welding, and effectively makes the diff a 2 way. Hadn't realised this. I'd just go for a stronger 1 way if anyone does them, otherwise a 1.5 way.
  19. Sorry, meant to say if Kaaz make a 1 way diff then go with that, otherwise just reshim.
  20. Do Kaaz make a 1 way diff? If you're gonna stick with 1 way, just re shim the stock diff. Otherwise 1.5 way will be more than enough, a 2 way won't help you on the strip.
  21. 1 way diff tightens on acceleration, 1.5 way tightens on acceleration and 50% on decel, and 2 way tightens on acceleration and deceleration. So unless you plan on drifting the car, no need to have a diff that locks fully on decel.
  22. Too easy, I'll get them to confirm that it is running cooler and not just my gauges. Thanks for your help guys!
  23. So if the thermostat was sticking, the temperature wouldn't vary? I thought it might drop a little bit at faster speeds with more air flow. Can anyone see this causing problems with the tune? I doubt I'll be able to get a replacement thermostat before Tuesday, so will it be ok to get it tuned and replace it asap, or should I postpone the tune?
  24. Yes, had to remove the radiator to do the cams.
