Just spotted a dark grey/black R33 Pull out in front of me turning off gladstone st in fyshwick made me use the brakes in the van! (which don't really do all that much)

I do if my first job happens to be up north... But i'd be in the van anyway

there not cheap! but no way 80K... the stylish ones that we installed in section 84 in civic (new canberra center) were around 14K per pole, with fittings... sure hope its insured anyway!!! really sux to hear a nice car coming unstuck like that!

you have to ground the parking brake wire! to access tv and dvd. its meant to only display movies/tv when the hand brake is up! but its easier to bypass and the rear camera is meant to be hooked up to the gearbox/reverse lights... it turns on automatically when you put the car into reverse. I didn't bother with a reversing camera so i can't be of any more help on where exactly to hook it up to. You could bo a test by powering it up and grounding the reverse wire and see if it changes automaticaly to the camera input

yeah i had to file off only about 1-2mm off each side, took a whole of 15 mins other than that it fit well, but ya cant get the surround on because the climate control is too close to it

As Above!!! i'm looking to short shift my R34, but looking on the net i can only find kits for R32/R33. or does anyone know of a kit for an R34, if so how much and where from? Cheers!

Mine sat on 0 when the pipe to the sender unit split and came off. The sender unit on the drivers side edge of the engine bay, NOT the one in the middle of the engine bay near the firewall!!! but if its sitting a little bit above 0 then there might be a different issue. I know that i re-soldered the internals of mine following a tutorial on here... This fixxed it working intermitedely
