  5. every law needs to be interpreted have you tried basing those measurement comparisons on a GTR wheel of your model? and unless your rolling on monster truck wheels, or Miles out of the guards i don't think you will get hassled anyways. as for insurance, same goes i guess. but in the end it all depends on who your assessor is, and what sort of a mood he is in that day. *and isnt the track still just measured from the hubs?
  6. i got a few. and the minolta owns all imo. the 7 is fun but not as easy to drive. but my fav is the 787B, sounds just plain sexy. saw the toyota GT1 in the used car lot yesterday. but didnt have the cash to buy it. im a poor man atm only 2.8 mill
  7. for sure, get em on so we can see pics
  8. sand it with the paper on a flat surface, so you dont sand the manifold round. start with heavier. and finish with 1000 odd, you'll be right. I did this to my powder coated rims around the edge, went as far as 2000 and solvol, but i was polishing it
  9. what seasons have you DLed? and how many GIG between em? very interested in getting my hands on some of this. did you just torrent them??
  10. sounds like a quiet night then. gonna stay home and play some Video games then ....or head to BNR if i get bored
  11. rainign here atm...contemplating not going, although i do need to test the tires in the wet hows the weather down that way chris?
  12. ^^ yup, be very careful. even if it seems cheap...might cost alot more in the long run if you have an issue
  13. got my wheels done powder coated, polished lip, and new tires. now time for some lowering...or alot. is it normal for a stock car with GTR wheels (235/45/17 tires) to touch the inner wheel well plastics a little while dropping down gutters (slowly) while steering??
  14. finally had a good read thru. epic undertaking here chris looking good. GTR wheels are a good stock wheel alternative
  15. game looks awesome. ATI..booooo

  22. exactly, ridiculous is the word. sounds like your the only person here who had the same thinking as me. lol although many people here have given very good reasons to buy an N/A liner. and my opinion has swayed a little
  23. car sounded very sweet already last night Noel cant wait too see/hear the finished product. and just plain sexy under the bonnet
  24. i can understand you dont wouldnt want the thing thrashed thru every change and launch. but to limit it completely to stop you from enjoying it defeats the purpose. you'd have to find some way around that problem, GPS tracking etc wouldnt work for many reasons. or the cops would already have ever car rigged with it and making a killing on speeding fines. i looked into hiring a Fezza, or 911 in Melb to do the great ocean road for our honey moon but, most of the prestige/sports cars that rent for that sort of money and more have the previously mentioned 100-250km a day limit (lost my business, i like driving). but there are also have age limits of 30+ on some, so your pretty safe there in not getting young wipper snappers who are going to crash it. you can go over the KM limit, but it cost you umpteen dollars extra per KM, and you obviously have to pay for the fuel then too. it just all becomes to ridiculous. the way i see it, if you can justify that amount of money + the extra cover for insurance etc etc to hire something like this for only a day or two...chances are you can buy your own unless of coarse your overseas for a holiday.
