  1. only necessary if your old ones are cactus man, and ive heard good things about the cheaper variations anyways. Either way new coilpacks are gonna be better than your 15-20 yr old ones more cleaner spark, and technically more power....but very minimal. if anything it will fix slight stutters or hesitations...or whatever small issue your R33 has :whistling:thinking about a set for mine too. as its starting to break down after 4k rpm in cold night air (sometimes)
  2. so your always drunk when driving??? here in QLD they love their multi coloured highway fatrol cars
  3. was gonna post up some pics....but then i got them on the computer and decided against it....iPhone camera fail
  4. i had alot of fun with it. mind you, if i did have an Xbox....no way would i get duke on it...those load times are just brutal. PC FTW!!
  5. no experience with it, but i cant see it being too hard. coilovers are in, and setup. will get some pics up soon.
  6. lol clint left you hanging?? just got my coilovers home. its gonna be a long night. got it booked in at RPM in the morning for alignment.......anyone who is bored is welcome to come give me a hand
  7. ahhh i see. try some 235's instead? i have 33 GTR wheels (9.0" wide) with 235's on my 33 gtst and they dont look too stretched. getting coilovers tomorrow so i'll see how it sits down over them. will post up some before and after pics
  8. yeah its all a gamble. but if the engine sounds good (right from ice cold startup). and it looks nice with warranty and papers, then you really cant ask for more than that. as others have said, any original motor is also a gamble, or its been rebodged and no one mentioned it. and with 3000 solid km's I'd say its safe ( or fried already due to poor run in, but that should be noticeable anyways) even buying a new car is as much of a gamble with the way they pump them out of the factories at low budgets atm......the number of current shape falcons ive seen on the side of the highway, or getting hoisted on a tow truck is bad. i'd be pissed if my brand new car did what a second hand one might do . good luck
  9. sits nice man, would be a shame to bring the front up. roll the guard a little instead?? plastic inners gone already?
  10. same as what clint got in his 34. some BC V1's the nice soft girly street ones read up on it today.....they seem very easy to fit. three bolts per corner and a trolley jack. RPM is only round the corner from me. so getting there for the alignment wont be too hard at all. only issue is i need it done this week as i want them in and sorted for happy laps. i'll def be having a late night tomorrow to install them. and hope pete has some time for me this week, will cal him tomorrow.
  11. what happened last night?? sry Ive been drunk and merry since bout midday Friday....far too much booze so. i got a call from option one today. the coil overs are in. but they cant fit them till next Tuesday. so i think im gonna do it myself, can anyone recommend somewhere local to get the alignment done that will do a good job and knows skyrines?? *i normally go to Caboolture steering, who always does a good job, but im not sure hes used to setting up coilovers and the likes (regarding height ect)
  12. no idea to be honest buddy. a rebuild is not on my mind yet......well hopefully but i hear Dan down at ERD does some mighty fine work
  13. ^^^^^^ well said. hype sucks, and it was in development for far too long, it was never going to be a current gen game.
  14. yeah i know the feeling, its hard to decipher one day from the next. Might have been the little lady in the beetle? i only drove the bug on monday morning last week
  15. fail.........this is the problem with all reviews ive seen on it. bar a few that have been good and knew what to expect. didnt you read the million other reviews that say its not the flashiest game around??....and yes there is a thread to vent about duke already. i on the other hand have been sitting around a LAN of dukes for the last day or so having a great time killing each other in hilarious ways. a feeling ive never got from a COD or BF game (which i also enjoy alot). to me this game is a perfect Duke game. sure its really late and a little out dated...but thats what was to be expected. but no way would i have payed full RRP for it. my 38 bucks was very well spent.
  16. spotted ya again brad thursday morning. i was actually in my liner this time...not a beetle or on foot
  17. ^^there ya go. although the 33 used big ass electric solenoids and the 32 does it hydrological
  18. nah leave it in man, its a "save your ass if you play to hard" type of rear steer. V ery handy for mountain runs......and if your car steps out and catches you off guard. drifters in particular remove it cause it screw with how the car turns in. its not a nescessary aid. but if it aint broke, dont fix it *not sure how this goes with more power and after market ECU's etc
  19. sry bout the early leave guys. my head is killing me....stupid dust
  20. does this include a filter change?? i always get just under 5 in and its on the full line of the dip stick. maybe 200ml left in the bottle. im slowly filling one bottle with all the left overs of other changes
  21. sounds warm......
  22. yeah stopping is always good. i had no drama with turn one...as i was being a little girly with my braking into it. Turns out i got a 1-2 week wait on the coils......doubtful it will be sorted for then
