twas a matter of i needed new brake pads (which i still havent got), and i was too lazy and busy to get it done that week beforehand. i'll def be there for the next one tho, plenty of time to sort out those brakes.

go for it man, sweet little cars. I have a few friends with them, from stocko's to GTI's to R32's. but as with liners or any import. make sure to get one with low Km's to reduce the need to maintenance, as i would imagine its prob a bit more pricey on parts etc.

im still in. so BP's southbound at 7. then head to carseldine from there even if chris isnt joining us, im keen for at least a small drive sounds good Joe, look forward to fiddling a kit out of it, im sure all the parts are generic enough and can be persuaded into place and shape. if they are steel i can weld that too.

yes def possible, draw thru is the way to go. and turbo's have been around longer than every day fuel injection. my bro used to have a kombi with a setup like this. only issue you have with a draw thru is that your pulling your fuel mixture thru the turbo itself, which can make it a small pain to get tuned and running right. my brother kombi had an SU carby infront of it, seemed to give tyhe most progressive flow. in your post you speak of a throttle body aswell?? that doesnt need to be there, as the carby is the throttle body in these setups.

so you are going?? im in next time but not this weekend the early morning road trips down to Willow bank used to be fun in a few older cars heading to the Jambo at some silly hour of the morning. dont see why a road trip like that for happy laps wouldnt be as much fun. route 5 around the west side of the city is a bit of fun that early in the morning

i washed mine, but no polish. i like the trade off, a dent for a dent....i hate finding new ones. although i tend to find more stone chips than anything else. i'll be bringing a friend along for a bit, hes bored so he thought he'd come out. not sure about ralf tho. trying to get in touch with him.
