  1. its a government job too isnt it?
  2. what wheels can you actually use?
  3. sry guys. Ralf and i are out. long day was crappy and tiring. 5 hrs sleep last night didnt help, ima stay home and play some video games and drink beer
  4. lol, I never play arcade mode really, its always racing A spec for cash and the fun of it. but i know the feeling, my line isn't to far off. but it is distracting and not really accurate to my braking in particular. some tracks i keep it on....as i have a habit of forgetting about certain corners... it isnt helpful in suzuka. i know that track well
  5. you say the temp reads a little low, now issues with the clutch fan? my little bro's 32 had a stuck clutch on his, and it made his economy bad. but having said that his car was slow and loud and cold because of it.
  6. dont run your V1's at lowest dampening. i thought this too as it would be softer, but they bounce thru the wayward stupid roads too much that way. i found stiffening the dampers actually made for a much nicer ride, 10 at the front 8 at the rear (from zero) they are a little more harsh on sudden hits and pot holes, but they arent to hard to avoid if your watching the road.
  7. not much interest for tonight then? ash? anyone? all good Joe. next week at carseldine then aye?? might go see the westies again tomorrow night instead if anyone wants to join me?
  8. lots of talk of the AFM being faulty or having the right voltage but have you cleaned the AFM??? i dont think ive seen this mentioned yet...if so, sry i missed that. if your running an oil charged pod filter, they like to make AFM's dirty. check for an air leak?? maybe in or near the TPS ( random idles are often this) good luck...i couldnt imagine this sort of economy. the all wheel drive i guess would make it a bit more than a 2WD, but not that much...ouch. i get 400-500 out of my 33 GTST tank. 400 is with happy driving and happy laps. 500 is on the highway with my economy sponge installed (i have seen 600km out of a tank)
  9. very well said, also without the console basis (which i have no doubt is now bigger than the PC sector) the massive profit the companies make on console games can be put into developing more games anyways. end of the day money is king and everyone will f**k anyone for it
  10. well coilovers arent much more than just getting lowered springs done with shocks, and very easy to do yourself. without lowering it will look gayer than aids, so thats something you need to take into consideration. and you will need to get it aligned then anyways, so throw them in, put em at the height you want then get them aligned. as for the camber arms and issues, not sure man, you might just be right with the smaller tires, suspension does roll in to negative camber naturally as you lower it.but coilovers or lowered springs is a must (coilovers for adjustability whould be the best way to go.)
  11. other than the spacing, you will find that the holes are actually tapered for a tight fit. make sure you get the rear ones on the right way around as they dont have the offset difference. and rely on that taper for a secure mounting. also speaking from V1's experience, but im sure they are the same.
  12. true, but it thought i could at least get out and play arcade mode. or small things like turn off the driving line......(bad idea leaving it on. 100 laps in and its burnt into my retinas)
  13. lol....BS. store bought PC's suck the big fat proverbial...........and always filled with some old crap component that brings the rest of the numbers down. and as was said...you still dont get that console gamers dont care that much, they just wanna play a game. on another related note ( not to BF3...but that seems normal here now) is that Rage looks as good if not better on PS3 (no idea on Xbox) as it does on PC. pretty game, but def designed for console. * i love consoles, PC's and Nvidia alike.
  14. this isnt entirely true. sure you can roll it up and down...but technically you should get an alignment done every time you move it, as it throws the geometry out (depending on how far you go)
  15. i still have to disagree there, mine is the original 40gig unit and still no wifi issues. although i should run it via cable...seeing as the router is in the same room, and the couch would hide the cable very easily.....but that would require a small amount of effort. so i started doing an enduro, the Suzuka 1000. you can save it mid race, but only when you come into the pits. and you have to quit GT entirely when you do so. which aint too bad i guess, it forces you to actually come back and finish it. but waiting for a full tank of fuel in the pit stop right as you turn the game on again isnt a nice thing to sit thru at all........
  16. sure that wheel fits . on another note, those S2 4 door indicators you guys have. do they bolt into the 2 door bar or do you need the whole bar to go with it??
  17. tighter tyres, and alot of lowering and all your worries will go away wheel nuts need to be changed. not many mags fit the stock ones in them
  18. Ewwwww alliance. seriously tho, esp the low lvl stuff has gotten alot more fun, enjoy!
  19. spoken like a true skeptic there Noel if unloved and just trashed any car is terrible. with a little love and some extra oil they are quite happy cruising around in the heat. plus a basic long block rebuild costs less than 1400 bucks, thats a win as for the rotary idea, that was/is still my plan for when i ever break my VW motor (as it will never be a daily...or need to be overly reliable again). and supercharged ones hanging out the back of a low bug does look pretty phat.
  20. could have fooled me....lol
  21. lol, the BMW badge on the wheel and the american accent says it all in that video......
