  1. lol, that sounds like a good glitch..... yeah it does work, ive used it for 2 different enduros so far. only issue i have is that you save it as you roll into the pits instead of on the way out. i hate waiting for 100 litres of fuel before being able to drive again
  2. yeah Chris my parents place has 2 of them, home and work. whatcha need??
  3. dam man, that sucks time for some big offset jap spec wideness?? or is it repairable?? you'd be suprised what you can fix
  4. would love to, but im real busy before xmas. and already attending the SAU QLD xmas party / happy laps at lakeside. get in on that guys, it should be good club members/partners are $25 a piece. non members are $50 a peice. they were doing signup on the day at the Charity cruise and waiving the initial signup fee, which basically saves you most of it in one outting
  5. sweet game, perfect for loungeroom PS3 rpging and no windows live
  6. actually it will prob be less drinking, were topping more than a carton a night down here atm. and plenty of gaming, ralf bought his PS3 and grabbed Skyrim, plus i been wowing it up on the laptop . Trav has his PC here and been playing BF3....iots almost like a lan party at night....without the lan. PS. sry i didnt call your back the other night clint, i saw the missed call just as i went to bed....and completely forgot until now.
  7. week 2 at the goldy almost done........dam its been a long haul. an it seems another week may still be coming .......
  8. deal with it, as long as the price is right this car should do well. i seriously doubt it will compete with the 370z...or was ever intended too. if the price is anywhere up as high as you guys seem to think then good luck in selling any. the boxer is awesome for keeping COG down. and keeping the bonnet line lower. boxers are by no means ideal, but much better than a basic V6 PoS (GTR's etc obv dont fall into this category, due to alot of money spent developing it)........inline North-south engines are a dying breed unfortunately, as they take up far to much room that can be filled with upright terrible seating positions, short wheel bases, short bonnets, better visiblility....and apparently general user friendliness. so the boxer works well being only 2 cylinders long and still N-S layout. sooooo not reading those essays, regardless of how valid some of your anti Kraut can engined comments are. rotary's technically suck aswell. but i and many other love them, and size wise make alot of sense. bring on something different i say.
  9. id go the duke if your gonna go silly on a bike......dam theyre sexy.......price is irrelevant if your crazy enough
  10. just watched the final F1 for the year...now waiting for 5:30 pickup to head back to the goldy. dam ima gonna be tired tonight.
  11. which sensor do you speak of?? not sure which you mean i think you'll find its the stop start that does that. 350 does seem a bit low, but 400-450 can be expected in crap traffic. i thought my car was starting to have some issues like this recently, as my girl has been driving to and fro Clonarrrf in it for work, and getting poor fuel economy in lame ass traffic..........45-50 mins for 35km's is just wrong. but after running to the gold coast and back this weekend, with the A/C blasting the whole time, plus some to and fro in regular (almost the speed limit sometimes) traffic, im looking at an easy 500 km tank.
  12. welcome Adam, sounds like a whole lot of fun. im thinking come the new year we should start up some wed night get togethers for pizza in carseldine. seems to be the best capers ive found, and we have more interest again!! i cant do squat atm with my working too much and xmas partys etc. but am def keen to kick things off again in the new year.
  13. the main part your totally missing is that FR layout, and relatively small size hence the 86, sure the engine wouldnt be my first choice (despite loving most things Boxer), and apparently they were looking for a 50/50 weight distribution. either way i would pick this over a Rolla or Zuki Swift or similar. As mad said it leads to many wonderful high powered versions. I say bring it on. there hasnt been a nice smallish RWD sports car for too long. its fun to drive in GT5
  14. just left the gold coast from a whole week of this ....back again on monday. as lame as it sounds ive gone home for a weekend of video games and lounging on the couch.
  15. twas raining here all freaking day, but the nice ocean breeze makes the humidity seem less not sure on the achilles. but i know the 595's are pretty good for the price. i hear theyre a bit louder than the K31's
  16. yeah i had a similar bridgestone guy recently...trying to sell me 12 months of free crap for 189 bucks...told me its worth 1100. he was in a uniform, had some official looking book and all. told him no thanks, i work on my cars myself, and dont trust anyone to do it right. he got right up on his high horse, telling me about how its their job and they do it right. either way, it seemed a bit strange...seeing as he showed up on my door step at 7pm at night. my car is always locked away, even if im only home for 5 mins inbetween drives (partially for all the leaves and seeds and shit the trees around my place drop all over my car) . but this is all getting a bit crazy.
  17. wow this place has become very lively in the last few days. whats this i read about a Petrie outting?? (sorry to lazy to read 4 pages to find it) Option one is gooood for tires. got mine there, and the first place ive found that can actually balance a tire propperly. specific sizes take a few days to get so call them in advance.
  18. pre welcome?? as random said, all those areas are fine, just avoid D'bay. Dakabin/narangaba way is your better option if you want some land with your house at a reasonable price (renting or buying)
  19. lol ive been a member of boost for almost 10 yrs...i think...and been on there about 4 times. and it has always been funny. but that will happen in a forum that is full of peeps from all walks of life.....and vehicular persuasions
  20. the booze can be blamed on the one time us northies bought a few locals with us....sry bout that,......but they did spend money, which is what i thought shops were looking for people to do. seems like they were just looking for an excuse...or got hastled one too many times by their neighbours.
  21. now your talking man, told you you dont need a racing patrol
  22. at the gold coast for 2 weeks of work...watching a teen stumble and face plant on the bitumen on the first night....hilarious.
