  1. i havent worked for more than a week......as fun as all those video games are. i think its about enough
  2. this man knows where its at. my skyline is my quiet comfy A/Ced daily driver....thats what i bought it for.....
  3. no idea tbh. haven't played with it that much. now back to Tsukuba for the other half of my 9 hour enduro...i love rainy weeks. allows for many a game playing
  4. the other alternative is just rub the clear off with realy find sand papers. the finer you go the better the alloy will shine. then polish them with solvol. Solvol will do nothing to a clear coated metal...other than grind the clear coat dirty. Ive had/have 3 different cars where ive polished the wheels from a terrible corroded mess to bling (within reason) by hand, just a quick rub and polish with solvol occasionally and they will stay shiny ...it's alot of elbow grease but alot better than forking out for new wheels. lol...old post....
  5. G27's dunno if you guys saw this thread on the G27 setups
  6. lol, geebus. i havent managed a good clean lap around there in it yet.
  7. agreed. im a little bored of the 85 dailies etc.....so ima pimp out another toon and go to town
  8. i can weld pretty well anything....or give it a go at least we have the wire and gas etc to switch between steel and ally. comes in handy quite often
  9. exactly, or a good laugh. some of the stories are that far beyond "OMG stupid" that they can only be a joke. just dont pay any real attention to either of these (or most comercial TV news for that matter) and you will be a happier person for it...and as mentioned above, prob save a few brain cells in the proccess......and they say drugs are bad for you.....
  10. thanks man, i really dont mind either way...im very happy to keep it for now
  11. lol, sounds like some happy laps may get a bit weird old and slow.....
  12. i'll bring the bug out and get in everyones way around lakeside
  13. hi guys and girls, just decided i might have to spend cash on another car soon, and was wondering if anyone is interested in yet another R33 GTST? it is a series2 with all the extra M spec body bits, BC V1 coilovers, Freshly powdercoated R33 GTR wheels with polished lip. ive owned the car for about 3 and a bit year now, done almost 60000 since. and it hasnt missed a beat, really reliable standard car, no boost, exhaust, POD etc. just stock and clean. the usual 5k services. it now stands at 127000 on the clock, ive personally done the 100k service at 100k on the clock. with a gates timing belt, all new water pump. cam and crank seals, tensioners etc, and iridium plugs. and recently all new Resma brake pads all round ( the ones i pulled out were original Sumitomo Nissan items) Along the way i've cleaned out the AAC valve, and replaced the O2 sensor for peace of mind and fuel economy. all gearbox and diff oils (penrite synthetics), brake fluids etc were also done as soon as i bought it. Interior has a consult cable wired up under the dash with a USB plug in the glovebox for easy fault assessment....not that Ive ever needed it . and brand new leather gater and handbrake boots in black leather with red stitching to match the wheel. interior is in VG condition, and comes with a simple MP3 stereo with AUX input. I do love my car. but if i can get the right amount for it i will spend it wisely on another looking at $13500 RWC and regoed in QLD, call me crazy, but i know how hard it is to find a nice clean 33...it took me ages to find this one....and will probably kick myself for letting it go. i Have all the original parts still and can/will go with car.
  14. anyone wanna buy my car??......drove my Bug again the other day. and now wanna fix it up.....if i get the right cash for the liner i might even consider it
  15. Ewww? Joes multiplying together sounds a bit wierd
  16. you guys do all know of the uber and crazy high res texture packs etc for the PC GTA4 right? makes even current games look average. all the porting to PC issues are gone, but does require quite the comp to run well.
  17. woo hoo, another Joe in the northside your always welcome.
  18. as in "qualified"?? or capable?
  19. thats my bucks / wedding weekends.......so no skyline based catchups for me as ill be farrr to drunk and preocupied
  20. ok so i bought a few beetles..... one is fully blown with both stage 2 and 3 turbos, the other ive done up to have the HP and look of my actual beetle.... they look fantastic (other than the usual lack of wheel choices), and actually handle quite well..............but, they got it entirely wrong with how they take off, and the weight of the car. over 1000 kg fully reduced is still 200kg over standard empty weight. but thats not what "bugs" me, the fact that a 200hp beetle cant spin the wheels from a standstill is just wrong. at first i thought, oh thats just the stage 3 high rpm turbo kit.....so i tryed the others and still nothing. now i drive full clutch with a G 27...and no amount of clutch dropping fixed this. so then i built my second bug, to replicate mine as best possible. 75 hp with what is alot more mods than my actual engine has to achieve the same result, then put it on the test track.......11 seconds to 100km/h. WRONG! and a 19 second Quarter...also quite wrong. and the same issue, even with comfort tires its a chore to get it to spin the wheels and the launch off the line is nothing like it should be rant out, i still love em, and having a lot of fun driving them.
  21. lol, i literally saw it pop up as i logged on
  22. spoke with clint about the BBQ thing, i has BBQ and room to work on cars under roof. so im more than keen to have a few of these here at my place. as i said tho, not before the wedding can i do this. so starting March shouldnt be an issue, een to head anywhere else beforehand
