HOWTO: RB25DET High Boost mode with standard solenoid
boiracer replied to paulr33's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
lol, as informative as this all is.... i agree it seems a bit over the top. if you want 10 just go for the R32 bits. as for why it doesnt work for some peeps just cutting and earthing the wire, that i dunno. its a pretty fool proof thing to do, just make sure it gets a good earth. even sand around the terminal a bit before screwing it down. -
yeah man those wheels will fit fine, you just need to put a set of slightly tight tyres on it, mine has 235/45/17 on that size in the federal and they dont look to stretched at all. metal filings are not a good thing to have in your sump, sucks that you had to pull the whole thing off.....mine has no leaks other than the little drip from the rocker cover at the back on the passenger side. is it having any issues with oil pressure etc? if not, just keep the oil fresh, and check it everytime. maybe even grab a magnetic sump plug so you can judge if its getting worse. or if it was just leftover crap from somewhere else. No idea on the engine builder sry. but i'd say drive it till it dies

just bring down your console.....im sure there is a /command for finishing the game...win???

Back from stanthorpe....it was a beautiful 17 degrees this morning when we woke up for the drive home, then back into the humid closed terribleness that is my loungeroom of an afternoon. standard is 16x7 with a +40 offset mine are the 33 GTR wheels, which are 17x9 with a +30 offset. they fit pretty darn well imo and i can fit my hand between the caliper and the spokes . all depends on the design of the wheel itself whether it will clear the brakes or not, but anymore than 25-30 offset requires some work. head into the wheel fitment thread on this site man.....its pages and pages of randomness, but you should find your answer in there somewhere. what wheels you looking at, link??

happy new year Joe, sry man cant think of it off the top of my head...and haven't got a photo on hand, tho i should have the front of mine apart for the intercooler in the next few weekends. next happy laps is up, 15th Jan at QR with a cruise to follow. ill be there for happy laps. But then i gotta race off to the sunny coast for a Christening the same morning. also going pretty HC on the mods to my car soon......lol........hopefully the intercooler in the next few weeks, and i got a new gearstick/handbrake boot on the way, and a new gearknob......i'm sure the car will be alot faster once its all installed . I was hoping to have the cooler in already, but im headed to stanthorpe for a few days R&R in the morning and didnt wanna risk not having it done...or something going wrong.

Ve Commodore Wheel Arches On A R33
boiracer replied to SMOK1106's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
cant say ive ever seen many good 400R replica with the flares and everything done right. lotsa peeps with 400R front bars or bits, but not the whole thing done well. the Commo guards could be interesting, but your inner guards prob wont work with the 22+ inch swallowing arches that a VE has. doit! and let us see! -
same issue here with the motor being dead...anyone clarify if it is just a generic motor or not??
-
that is very true chris. wedding has eaten a few funds more than expected atm, but soon is still on the cars for that
-
indeed. ive been spending too much money on everything non car related. a little on it soon and get the Intercooler sorted, and prob some new front speakers for now. I also need a new windscreen squirter motor. its kaput!
-
true?? i hear the same about MW3 just killing them. must just be the last straw in an already overheated unit....silly sony and their lack of real solder so the kiddies cant die of lead poisoning...... havent tryed the 3D yet...might be due to lack of a 3D tv tho might head to a friends tomorrow and check it out! oh and the Toyota 86 is a freaking sweet litle car!
-
lol at just turning up your weight capacity..........who needs to play a game as its given when you can justchange it to suit you????...... yeah no issues here with the PS3, or for my little bro. combined about 130 hrs now. easiest way to make money, lvl blacksmithing and enchanting is by making nothing but iron daggers, enchant them with your best enchant (Banish by far is the best if and when you find it) and sell them off slowly. turns a 5g dagger into a 700g dagger

R34 Body Onto Gq Patrol Chassis/drivetrain With Rb26 Motor
boiracer replied to Sparkys's topic in Fabrication
yeah ive seen a few commo's like this too. i doubt you will get around the chassis cutting thing. the old VW Manx's were shortened. and very popular. the only way to have one of those now is if it was an original one from way back when. you can still build/buy them, but they are a full length chassis for these reasons. go for it tho, this could look hilarious and very different -
yeah i'd say its far to hot for it. you will run the risk of deforming it. powdercoat?

like this guy said, korean cars are much better than they used to be......but in saying that. the old round mid to late 90's excels are still kicking strong. i know many peeps that have them. they are a terrible car, but dam do they keep running even with neglect. they are becoming good looking cars, and you cant beat the value for money on them....and as far as reliability goes no car these days seems better than the next....just dont get a BA falcon, i see those on the side of the road alot
-
oh noes!!! easy enough fix, just watch a good you tube video. and be very careful. did mine just a few weeks ago
-
not sure on that issue man, mines been fine. soo, after not having played for a few weeks while i was at the goldy and now playing skyrim. i decided to play this arvo.......254mb update of coarse. but it does come with more new cars including the Toyota 86. there is a new DLC for 4 more cars also.....(which contains ANOTHER R35 GTR) but the best thing about the whole lot?? you can now change and paint your wheels on standard cars!!! thats amazing!
-
the box under the window cant be fuel pump related. the original speak wires run thru it, and ive left it unplugged once while i had the shelf out and made no difference to the car...just the already poor stereo sound. the other box, no idea.
-
cool man, grats on the wheels, should look good. 30 litre on 100??? typo i assume, i know battleships that use less fuel than that. grats on a cheap bash about car tho, good ones are hard to find (wish id never sold the Madaz) as for nmy car...no idea yet, only just finished work yesterday. now is relax and figure that out time.
-
awww... saw this far too late. prob not a good idea anyways if i actually wanna make it to my last day of work tomorrow!! yay. grats on the epic pay rise, have a few for me.
