  2. wel cool, if you can justify the price go for it, then MOAR PWR!!!
  3. i dunno, but it could be amusing. drunken night you dont recall??
  4. so whos starting the bring it to PC petition? looks and sounds sweet, not so sure on that road surface tho...looks a bit weird. funny that a game that comes out a year later than GT would look better aye??
  5. love this i had many beetles after the camira (and still do). never owned a T3 tho unfortunately.
  6. im with ya man, mine was mums hand me down, i tryed my hardest to kill it....ended up selling it for 500 bucks. mine was a white auto 1.8 multi injection...what a beast. i even pollished the original wheels and put some G-grid tyres on it.......out cornered my brothers million dollar VK easily......lol. ah the memories
  7. old and boring much??? falcon driver who spends his time in the wastelands of a skyline forum, you sir must be mad.....or very bored yourself, in which case...sucks to be you. is there an ignore feature in this forum so i dont need to see this guy anymore? im just not cool enough to get his jokes. Spa will rock, i hope the DLC dont cost too much. im all for bonnet cam in Dirt and the other codemasters games, but in GT ive always been bumper cam driving( mostly for the clear no nonsense guages). inside view is a bit too restrictive for video game driving imo. unless you have 3 uber screens to do the whole wrap around view (which GT doesnt do anyways i dont think)
  8. lol, this sounds like a whole lot of hard work, and a good laugh if i was driving past
  9. Keen for the BBQ ash does your engine need work joe?? either way you need to pull the engine out to put that rebuild kit thru it. line boring etc for the main bearings cant be done in car, and they are never just a bolt in thing. so your looking at a full rebuild to put that stuff in. not sure on the price tho man, never looked into it. I cleaned up under my house today...finally, now i can bring my beetle home and somehow shimmy it in underneath at a 90 degree angle to the other cars...and the doors
  10. plenty in a car that weighs not more than 700kg. my '58's dry weight is 610kg and was designed in the '30's
  11. this could only be if they didnt bother getting back on PSN. as you had to change your PW when getting back on after the "issues".....or are stupid enough to change it to the same PW???
  12. 5k will buy you one thats on the road....but not well, unless your very lucky. i payed 4.5 for my girls one ('68 with the roof racks, Venetians etc) but i have rebuilt the motor since in it..... I found in the 5k bracket you either get one with a good body and stuff drive train, or vice versa. never a nice combo or compromise. anything below 4k was just plain screwed what happened to the days of buying an old Volkies for 500 bucks slapping some number plates on it and just driving.... oh, and if this rain stays im not coming down tonight...spent too long this arvo saturated in the rain to wanna go out in it again
  13. well said, but unfortunately as you said, alot of those teens are too dead or injured to learn their lesson, glad you did so whats next on your import purchase list? and how will you ever come to grips with how much they cost here in comparison with NZ?
  14. agreed. i hadn't looked at it till now......its pretty lame, like someone turned the lights out but only in the car. not really an issue for me as i only drive on the bumperbar anyways, but lame none the less.
  15. yeah i bet. i couldnt imagine not having a license for any period of time. i'd go bonkers. if the weather stays like this im not heading out tonight, we sprayed a concrete pool in the rain today. and have no intention of being out in it again.
  16. current navaras.......keep clear, terrible terrible POS
  17. how much you looking at spending on the krautcan? (initial layout) and what are the plans? and how much for the 32? lol? and are you going icecreaming? i think i'll be coming to see you guys. nothing much happinin northside atm
  18. im never bored....either at work or home......something is always there to do. and i got mountains of stuff i wanna do. the day i get bored is the day i admit im getting old.....i'll probably enjoy it too
  19. or that will work too PS: buy a new modem.
  20. well thats cool man, what time you heading down there? might follow you down then head off to the westies whenever
  21. no such issue here, mines always been wireless and have never had an update go askew or a drop out...unless the modem/router has a tantrum, but that effects all comps on my line. it is a bit slower on the DL's but not enough to worry me.
  22. not sure to be honest on those coilovers man. the lowest model would be the most streetable i'd say. and more than enough for what you need. as with any set tho, try and find out the spring rates. sooo, i only just got home from work and am too buggered to come out tonight. not to mention the lack of interest, so how about we go see the westies tomorrow instead?? maybe with a drive by of Harry's if we feel like it?
  23. is it that hard to get your PS3 to your router via cable? even if it means moving it temporarily? the new X2010 seasonal around suzuka is difficult to say the least. gold is only 1:25 lap (which is easy) but to get a good time is quite hard.
  24. yeah it all relies on driving record, etc etc. i got both the liner and missus Beetle thru shannons for 1300 a year. (shannons is owned by suncorp) expect these numbers man, its HIGH risk vehicle!!! and if you've lost your liscence and been a silly bugger expect alot more. cheapest i had on the liner was thru suncorp for 770 a year, but that was market value with a silly excess.
