  1. 4.3sec-4.4sec 0-100km/h. Seriously fellas, 370Z with a few mods would probably do that, or very, very close to that. For sure I know that an EVo-X would do 3.5sec 0-100km/h in FQ-400 guise. If my car is 30% slower than what Nissan advertised in 2007 and 2008, 3.3sec, then I would be seriously pissed of with them.
  2. kms should not matter to what boost you are making - not in the slightest.
  3. +1 Agreed.
  4. Why would Nissan Oz do this - we have same quality fuel in Oz now, and there is simply no excuses to de-tune our cars. I call BS. PS: 14.5kW is not little, its a fair ammount. Is it possible that 08 model had higher boost, compared to 09 ADM's.
  5. Hey Max, are you a Nissan Australia rep on this forum?!!?!?!?!?

    139k Jdm

OK, 911 GT-2 was 425K when new, now they have them advertised for 205K, 223K and 225K. Only 50 delivered in Oz. If you got this GT-2 eight years ago you'd have to feel raped now, even without CPI indexation.

Hey, anybody knows the performance of a modern 1000cc sportsbike - top speed 300kmh+, 0-100 in maybe 3sec, 1/4 mile in low 10's - hell, anybody wants to buy my one for what I bought it for 2 years ago, anybody. Yeah, thought so, same story will be a GT-R. Plus, all the hype has already died down, now its just another car, awesome, but still its just a car. This topic can actually extend a bit and discuss the issue where a perceived Euro cars maintain their value much better than Japs - hmmmm, I wouldn't wanna be an owner of that 2 year old RS-4 on carsales: 165K + orc when new, now he has it advertised for 105K. Damn, even excluding ORC costs that is a whopping 36% loss in 2 years. Or something more comparable to a GT-R: 911 GT2, 8 years old, price when new was 400-450K I think, now its advertised for 225K. Ouch. Still better than RS4, but 50% loss in 8 years, damn. Biggest difference between these two examples and the R35 GT-R is that these vehicles remained stock, and with poser businessman they also still have a name/brand appeal. You could somehow conclude that a stock, ADM in good condition should not lose more than 35% in 2-3 years time. You'd hope. Still, looks like one of the posters earlier was right: sub 100K doesn't look so crazy now.
  8. Old Evolution R shop, ha, thought they went bankrupt, glad they are still kicking.
  9. Wald kit is great - I am not the one that likes bodykits but I have to admit, its great, especially on the red GT-R. On the silver or white this would look out of place, but other colour I would say are perfectly suited for this. I especially love the diffuser - this is a "weak" looking part on the standard car IMHO.
  10. Tell me about it, and as if we can buy a luxury for 57K - if they said 200K+ then maybe I could understand. Which ever way this goes we should be presented with a full breakdown of all costs and charges when we look at a particular car: Car cost from OEM tax - LCT - stamp duty etc rego dealer delivery cost of all options Then this would assist when negotiating with a dealer, they should not hide behind some bogus costs etc, and explain all costs as out of their control. 15K or 20K delaer delivery for a GT-R is a perfect example of a BS charge nobody should pay IMHO. Cheers

You can say that, or you can look at it this way. 2 year old M3 is now in the 120K ish 2 year old RS-4 in now in the 105-120K, and when new it was also 165K car, so more expensive than GT-R now. What do you think, that 2 year old ADM will sell for 158K ha ha ha. Even an Audi R8 or a 911 Turbo lose 30% in 2 years time - 159K x 0.7 = 112K, simple maths brainiac

Wow, they are losing quite a lot of value. Just saw a JDM 2008 with 7000kms on the clock for 139K. Call me crazy but I put money on 120K-ish in 2 years time for 2009 ADM models.
  13. If you can afford it now, and you want it just buy it, simple.
  14. Sounds about right - 500 is more than enough for Oz market. Nissan stated that they will make 1000 per month for 6 years, so maybe this 500 will be for 5 years not 3.
  15. Hey, this car costs them max 130K IMHO.
  16. Some - but some people are just cocks regardless what they drive. My experience so far says that most GT-R owners are OK - you gotta be an enthusiast, pretty wealthy one to own this baby. That's a world of difference to some M3 owners - slicked up hair, massive sunnies and ego issues - massive cocks.

    Gtr Demo

Considering its a demo the dealer delivery would not apply, nor should the rego costs. 5,000kms on the clock - IMHO max-150K plus SD maybe.
  18. +1 - DO NOT GET THIS MING OR PAINT PROTECTION OR WHAT EVER - DO NOT PLEASE.
  19. I've read this Motor review - not bad, not bad. Still I reckon GT-R can do 0-100km/h faster than 4.01sec - if in US they get 3.6-3.7 0-60mph, this should get it sub 4sec to a 100km/h, unless there is a gear change at 97km/h
  20. Kind of relevant:Europe is currently in the process of delivering the first GT-Rs to more than 2,200 pre-order customers. The model R35 GT-R was first launched in Japan in December 2007, selling 5,900 units until March 2009. It went on sale in the US in July 2008, where 2,100 have been sold so far.
  21. $171,548 - red, premium. I could not afford that at this time so looks like my only opportunity will be a used one in 1-2 years, hence my wish all allocated ones for Oz get sold ASAP.
  22. This is a relevant topic: http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=28923
  23. .........and the way DOTARS is setup we can forget about topping those numbers with grey imports - since Nissan Aust already imported the car...............damn. I don't see the numbers exceeding 300-odd for the life of the model.

    R35 Vs 370z

....and lets not even mention the interior - 370Z all the way
  25. 600 is a lot. Not quite sure we will have 600 buyers - but hopefully they all sell ASAP.
