its true being a non driving event a couple may show up. only chance any have to say they beat other cars but considering how hard it is to even get a few of the "regular" attendees to things now I'd say chances are slim!

This shows how these threads really can be pointless. Everyone has different experiences with different workshops and lets face it only the negatives are mentioned. Many people that have issues with workshops are also the types that want the top dollar product/ results but wont pay for anything other than an ebay budget. things go wrong and they will then complain to everyone. that said some can also pay top dollar and recieve a hacked backyard job. The best thing to do is pick 3-4 workshops people have mentioned and go in and talk to each workshop. get the work quoted, have a look around the shop and inspect their work. from there you have enough information to make the best choice based on your requirements.

Is this not the same white gtr that was previously running a low mount ARMS twin set-up? Is the turbo part of the new billet range? looks like a great set-up!

another problem is your changing gears like a motor bike so you will loose time with the constant changing. My supra currently has short gearing (auto tt diff) which is great for quick bursts but im in 5th crossing the line over 400m which kills drag racing times. I havent been to EC in my car but i think i'd run out of gears before turn one too.

Ive seen you a couple times too. nice car but you need the kit to be molded not revited as well as wider more agressive offset wheels. skinny stretched tyres are bad lol

Its been awhile. ive recently changed back to the clutch fan as thermos just werent up to the task in traffic driving. i also installed a race port BOV to help prevent a bent turbine shaft later on. Now its driving time to tweak any minor issues. here are a couple pics i took this weekend

I saw to police cars and a bike around erindale yesterday. one car was on the grass waiting for cars to come down erindale drive too fast.

it was a good gig. their new stuff is rubbish but most was the golden oldies and those songs went off! I was pretty impressed with the crowd too. definately got more involved than any other Canberra concert haha

Unfortunately the guy is in his right to sue. Financed cars are big problems and as mentioned above paying the finace out at time of purchase is a must. in the scheme of things your friend will need to sue the original owner or finacier. Something like this he really needs to speak with legal aid or a lawyer to ensure his story is 100% and gain appropriate direction from a lawyer...not forum folk. good luck to him but i think he is in for a long process to have it sorted.
