  1. lol.
  2. Because your speedo is out by 10k's at 180.
  3. I wasn't, just telling you the outfit stylez I was hoping to wear, just to fit in with your mech mates. Touchy subject?
  4. Haha, Dave knows... He has been there, done that.
  5. It's to allow expansion when the engine overheats. Why couldn't they just have replaceable seals rather than needing to buy a complete cover assembly.
  6. Mail order tunes... I would suggest the lower octane map personally, just in case. Or why not just get a proper tune? It will be cheaper in the long run...
  7. Poor Moh, learning the hard way yet again. lol.
  8. It goes into the scrap bin.
  9. What's that, a 4 inch tip? I thought you wanted pea shooter...
  10. We can cut the rusty mild shit off if you like.
  11. That sounds better. I lurve the Jap stainless mufflers...
  12. Can't be welded in situ, the oil will stop the weld from sealing. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned and ground back, even then it probably won't stick, as the previous welded found out the hard way.
  13. Not much to laugh at there plattsy. Only issue with that pos exhaust is I don't have mild steel flanges. Should do the job though... Take it to Midas for fitting, I don't want my name attached to anything that shiteful.
  14. I will dress up in my favourite 'Ciggy butt brain' costume. Should fit right in.
  15. I will say it again for the deaf among us... There is nothing to hold the sealant in place, and nothing to clamp it. As the tube is covered in oil the sealant won't stick, and there isn't another mating surface to hold it in place, hence why it will break off and float about the engine. It's a slightly different application to sealing the sump as there is a 20mm lip holding the silicone in place, plus you would be able to scrape it clean first and brake clean it.
  16. Oh yeh, those damn heater pipes. (or should I say that damned manifold that touches them) Interesting, are you sure the rims are the same offset? It sounds weird to have the subframe that far out, unless you hit a gutter drifting recently with all those powerz?
  17. Still proud of that external gate off the turbine TD06, you always remember your first time.
  18. The best mechanic is yourself. The hardest part is the timing belt, everything else can be done by any spanner wielding mates and yourself, if you have the tools and space.
  19. ^ glad the weeties packet mechanic is here. You want to help Dave?
  20. I can do anything you like for the right price Platts. No idea how long it would take though. Is he mechanically minded? I might need a hand... Could save him some coin too.
  21. It's Frankston mate, just be glad he didn't syringe you for your car keys.
  22. Same with injector wiring, it's just a coil. Aren't your MAC valve coil wires both black? If they needed polarity they would have made one red.
  23. You never know until you wind the boost up. E85 should help but there are no guarantees in this game.
  24. Why aren't you sure? Scaredy?
  25. It all comes down to turbo selection, and yours should be good for similar powerz...
