  1. So does the Nismo dash I have here. The HKS Speed Limit Defender I have works well...
  2. If it's original... There are so many knockoffs getting about these days. Stick it up on NS or something, I don't think anyone would recommend them on here.
  3. Well they are pretty rare, but understand it could have nearly any tune on it, they are not set Nismo tunes from the factory, all of them are different depending on what the customer asked for initially.
  4. I think you will have to something tells me. Do you have the Emanage already? Where are you again Matt?
  5. I could make something if the BOV was here i'm sure, but I would be buying a stock bov as Ben said, or a Turbosmart Kompact if you want a little more punch and plan to tune it afterwards.
  6. I am sure it would get there, but obviously it would be restrictive. Why don't you try it out before dropping the coin on an expensive drag cooler.
  7. It will obviously get rid of the speed cut, and raise the AFM cut to 5V or so. There are benefits but not sure they are worth the asking price. Up to you mate.
  8. *unless you run some kind of emulsion with the water, diluted oil of some kind. You can also run one of the new stainless internal injectors, but probably best to just buy a second hand aquamist kit from someone.
  9. You will still need the emanage to reel back the 1000 revs of response you have lost. The Nismo is a great option for those wanting good performance from the stock setup.
  10. It will either work or not, you will need to plug it in and see. You may lose some functions, like the leaf display. There are many versions to suit the same car, let alone different models, but they are essentially the same.
  11. at least 9000.
  12. No, not yet. But I can rip it all out if you are interested and just make some new parts up for myself. Not sure when the evo will be on the road, the mech building the engine is being slack.
  13. You want alloy? I could spin one up on the lathe in 20 minutes.
  14. The Ebay sellers go in and buy the lot when they arrive, then sell them to unsuspecting purchasers for a premium. It shits me and I have complained to Costco a few times, as they won't hold stock, even for warranty return customers. Don't buy ratchet car stands, the pin type can't fail catastrophically.
  15. Have you seen this 3037 housing? If it's to suit the same rear wheel it should be a good option... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/438741-fs-hks-3037s-rear-housing-amuse-r1-titan-bride-brix-ii-ikeya-formula-camber-arms-nismo-fpr/#entry7200931
  16. Remove the airbox/afm and plumb it into the rubber or silicone. If using the rubber, it will stretch out under pressure, don't take it too far...
  17. Replace the AFM with a known good one. Change the plugs as it sounds like they might be fouled.
  18. The evo is a much better package out of the box imo, and lighter. Both can handle 220kw fairly easily, but the RB26 might let go in race conditions due to oil surge, as the oil doesn't like to drop back to the sump at high revs. I think you would need to spend a packet to get the gtr to a similar lap time as the evo. Parts are much cheaper for the evo too, and only 4 pistons to buy.
  19. Sounds like the usual crap compliancing, not that it matters, you would want better tyres than they would put on anyway, and your own quality alarm system.
  20. Try it with the new Turbosmart HP range, 45psi of spring would be a bitch. Can you get in there with a lever? I sometimes have to put a block of wood on top of the gate and lever it with something to keep pressure on it, while someone else does up the bolt.
  21. You would be surprised how hard it is to stop the leaks at 40psi. lol.
  22. Just swap the battery, if you jump it and it fires, it's pretty obvious the battery capacity is ruined. (happens regularly if you let them go dead flat, even once.) Why are you cranking for 7 seconds though? Perhaps the voltage is so low the coils won't fire properly?
  23. So remove the spring and test it without the seat pressure, that will tell you.
  24. You can run it in the factory location if you put a screw in o2 cooler under it. There should be enough room... You would need to select the narrowband output and plug it back into the factory loom, otherwise closed loop economy will be all over the place.
