  1. Secret rocket launcher? Have you tried switching it? It could just be an old switch put in to fill a hole. Are there wires attached to it?
  2. Lol, I assume you are talking to me, not Mick? I make my living off car mods, I have nothing against you, your car, or anyone elses build. I just wish you would realise that you are in the wrong thread, the RB30 thread is up there. ^^ If you were planning a 2.9 stroker, different story. My car still has the stock engine, and my goal is to see what it can make with stock internals, and to further the development on what is a very rare Nissan turbo engine.
  3. Thanks Ben. 400 messages is only a few months worth it seems. They pay extra registration costs (road tax) by engine displacement I think. No wonder there are so many small engine turbo cars there.
  4. GTR what? Fuel rail? Just put a Neo rail back on, why is it so hard?
  5. Is there any other fuel to use?
  6. The thread title needs to be changed to 'Building a skyline for response' then I could drop some decent suggestions, like a VQ transplant, seeing you are willing to use a different engine. I prefer to use the stock block in my builds, just to keep the engine number correct, no matter what's inside it.
  7. Seeing you have access to all kinds of cheap engines, why not shove a VR38 in there?
  8. I am interested, I just haven't had the time to contact you about it. Performance parts for these aren't going to fly off the shelf, but if you make them you will eventually get rid of them if you do small quantity runs. Remember, these are family cars predominantly, so performance mod customers are few and far between. Anyway, put me down for one Justin. Send me a PM with your details if you can, or do you have a Paypal account?
  9. And they only use rubber seals and a big diaphragm after all.
  10. ^^ This. VL thread is up the top there.
  11. They don't, that is the point of a stainless mesh filter. The replacement elements are around 30 if it got too dirty to clean.
  12. Flow is more important than noise to me, and the damn drone... It gets exponentially worse as you ditch the cats and go 3 inch to the turbo. The Fujitsubo Legalis R has such a nice low note, and the design is near perfection imo. If only it didn't have dicky 4 inch twin tips.
  13. I fit my old GTX3076 into a customers 34 the other week, using a Kando rear housing, it made 380kw with a built auto at 25% slip. It maxed Trent's hub dyno putting it into emergency shutdown due to the massive torque it produced. I think people are giving the 76 the raw end of the stick personally.
  14. It is still crap compared to ethanol fuel.
  15. How about you PO, I have already discussed in this thread the ways you can obtain your magical response, in laymans terms mind you, if you still can't comprehend them don't take it out on me. How about you rip the engine out and shove an LS1 in there.
  16. On what fuel? I assume pootrol? A Walbro 255 for $100 will do the trick. I usually hoseclamp them onto the hanger in the tank.
  17. None? You need to start by letting us know your future power goals, and whether you plan to run e85 one day. Personally I would be shoving a Walbro 416L e85 pump in there, or the Walbro 255 if you want to save a few bucks. Socks come with the pump. PM me if you would like some price quotes.
  18. As long as you have a large stainless mesh filter of 30-40 micron or less inline, you shouldn't need those filters. They block easily as they are so fine, and they don't have a lot of surface area. The only injector blockages I have seen so far have been those small filters clogging. If you changed them regularly they would be a great backup to your main filter.
  19. 350GT has Vcam actuators on both intake cams, and a modern torquey 3.5L V6. Comparing it to an engine designed in the 70's is plain silly.
  20. It looks to be the same as the Earls one I have here.
  21. Try a new set if possible, I have changed many a wheel bearing due to tyre noise. The only other logical solution is both times the wheel bearing was pressed onto the hub by the outer shell, something I see far too often. It is ruined before it's put back on the car. I would hope Nissan didn't put the apprentice on the job...
  22. Yep, I use a nylon hammer and gently tap them in.
  23. Interesting that they still use iron magnets though, I thought they would have been plated Neodymium or something, due to the flow they have.
  24. The coolant bypass kit is not very heavy mate, it's worth more than that. Thanks Dale, glad you like it.
  25. WTF Aaron, it didn't even stop you so suck it up princess.
