Okay, I know this topic has been thrown about a lot, but I can really find any info on the following question. Which bloody ones? There are cam geams from just about every supplier, Tomei, HKS, Apexi and the list goes one. The price difference between them all is also quite large. So, are there any to stay away from or are they all as good as each other? Also, do you need a programmable engine thingo to fit them or can you use the standard computer and not touch anything and still get results. CHEERS BASS OUT

Okay, regarding insurance, heres what to do. There is a repairer in Fairfield who will do this sort of shit for you, ie, have their lawyers get the money from the girl for the damage. They will make the claim through themselves, quote the work and then basically sue the woman for the cash. All you have to do is take the car to them and talk to them about it. I can't give you there name here, but they are a prestige auto body repairer in fairfield. They do extremely good work and will handle everything. Also, if she goes to sue you, make sure you counter sue. All this said, again get legal advice first so you know your rights. BASS OUT

That's right. Most turbos take their boost reading from right at the compressor, and hence the turbo might see 10 psi, but because of restrictions in the system, it might only be able to supply 7 psi to the manifold. Remove the restrictions (in both intercooler and exhaust) and you get your 3 psi back. Aftermarket boost controllers can take their reading from anywhere, therefor can regulate boost at the manifold if required, and also manipulate the boost to what they want. BASS OUT

You are wrong. It is a very well known and accepted fact that when replacing factory dumps/fronts etc. that you will most likely raise the boost that the trubo can supply to the manifold. Ask any speed shop or techie out there. I haven't got time to go into specifics, but yes, you can definently make more boost with a less restrictive exhaust. BASS OUT

Hey there. I'm not sure of the legalities of it all, but just be very very careful. Don't say anything and don't do anything, and if I were you, I'd go and get PROPER LEGAL ADVICE. Not any of us saying things about things that might have happened before, get advice from a lawyer. Like the childrens court is always biased towards the mother, road laws are biased towards the pedestrian. And a young driver in a Skyline is like a red rag to a bull if you get the wrong judge or copper. I wish you the best of luck with it, but make sure you get some proper legal advice ASAP. BASS OUT
