  1. I REALLY REALLY need to sell this car. I don't want it when I move into my new house in five weeks. Reasonable offers considered.
  2. Ppls, Skylineboy: Titanium wheels? Yes, F1 turbos used to have these. Obvious advantages, and obscene costs. I've raised my boost upto the factory boost cut point on my R34 (a touch below of course) and and have had zero problems thus far (* frantically knocking on wood *). I bounce off the rev limiter quite often. The factory tacho in the dash just isn't fast enough and first gear often sees me hit the limiter. oh well, that's what its there for!! BASS OUT
  3. It's only a drift Sunroof if its open during drifting.
  4. Hey ppls. Is Calder Park drags on this weekend? I checked the website and it says "Every Friday Night" but only gives dates until the end of December. So does anybody know if its on, cos I'd like to have a bit of a run.... BASS OUT

  6. Hey ppls. I'm trying to figure out whether to put a HPI Dirft Silvia style strip down the flanks of my car.... R34 GTT as in the pic attached. Is anybody handy with the photoshop who could whack one down the side for me?? All help appreciated. CHEERS BASS OUT

  8. I also have an R34 GTT and was wondering the same question. As I understand it, the ABS runs on a seperate computer to the engine. It uses sensors at each wheel for imput. The Traction control monitors the same sensors at the ABS (only in reverse of course) and shuts a second throttle body (which is the extra wide section before the normal throttle body) to control wheelspin. I think that the traction control also drops spark in extreme wheelspin conditions, as my car can often be heard popping and farting in the wet like it has missed a spark. I have a PowerFC about to be installed which should keep the factory spark cut thing happening. Theoretically the Microtech should also keep the second throttle body part of the traction control, but whether it will keep the spark cut, I'm not sure. I hope this helps, Maybe SYDNEYKID might have something to add???? BASS OUT

    HPI issues

Hi ppls :wavey: I am currently doing the things to the R34 that everyone does, clutch, cooler, boost etc etc. I didn't start buying the HPI issues with the Project R34 in it until half way through and I would really like to read the articles. So, who has all the issues and would be so kind as to loan them to me so i could copy them folr my own personal uses??? Cheers BASS OUT I'm in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne

  21. No, not dodgy. Just instead of an insurance base company who will just fix the visual damage, this company will make sure everything around the damage is fixes. Like if you had a front on, and the radiator got punctured, they will fit new hoses, probably a new pump as well in case shit got in and it dried up during repair. If you damage your quarter panel, they will make sure the inner wheel arches are perfect and not just covered by the new quarter panel, and that the whole front end of the car is then properly aligned. At the end of the day, it's the person who hit you's fault, so you should make sure your car is as good as it was before the damage, not just fixed. BASS OUT
  22. AMEX PANELS in Fairfield is a really really good panel beater. They do prestige cars all the time, and the work is exceptional. They are expensive, so for insurance work they ar perfect, they also are affilliated with lawyers who deal only with car claims, so they can get a lot more done for your car, rather than just getting the damaged fixed.... They worked well for my gf's car. BASS OUT
