  1. Wrong forum. Moved.
  2. Doh.. oh well, cheers Ash!
  3. Anyone know if this is a standard FPR, or if it's not, know what brand? Can't seem to see any markings on it... Cheers..
  4. RB20/25 AFMs will support 300kw easy. (20 is straight plug in, 25 needs a rewire). Nismo AFMs / Z32s would be overkill for your requirements.
  5. Works fine for me, just checked. There's a notice on the page apologising for server probs however.
  6. Have you guys checked all the fuses in the car - there are three separate locations (for a 33 anyway). In the boot, drivers side lower panel to the right of steering wheel, and the fuse box in the engine bay.
  7. It's a payable upon initial registration in Victoria, or if a vehicle changes owners. So you only need to pay it once. See link for more info: http://www.sro.vic.gov.au/sro/SROWebSite.n...uties_motor.htm
  8. Haha it could explain the banana in my tailpipe.. ok thanks guys.
  9. Hey guys, As above, looking for where in the car a 33 A/C sucks air from in... My normal fan is ok but as soon as my A/C runs I get awful odours in cabin... it's not the usual dirty aircon smell issue that some ppl have, this is most likely related to where the aircon is getting its air from and I'd like to know as its possibly related to another issue with my car atm. Thanks! //edit: Just might add, it's gassed up nicely and from what I can tell, no leaks. Temperature (hot/cold) selection is ok too.
  10. Did you disconnect your battery negative before you started to work?
  11. Ok guys, have my Pivot SSL-Pro shift light for sale. See link for description: http://www.pivotjp.com/product/shiftlamp/ssl-p-e.html - 3-stage shift light (red LEDs) - brightness adjustable - each point is adjustable (all 3 LEDs flash at the final shift point). Can either be wired into the ignition, or simply plugged into your ciggy lighter (like I have used), allowing you to remove from car when not in use, or move between cars easily. Used once, now surplus to needs. Pictures to come next week, but in excellent condition. With original (Japanese) instructions and all wires. Looking for $120 posted to anywhere in Australia. Payment via direct deposit, or pickup in Sydney CBD (Monday-Friday). Other locations available upon prior request - Hurstville (weekends) or (Penrith (evenings or weekend). Cheers, Vijay
  12. Theo do you know if the spark box will work with a Power FC??
  13. The costs payable: Import Approval fee = $50 Shipping = Customs Duty = 15% of cost of car GST = 10% of (cost of car +customs duty + shipping & insurance costs) Quarantine costs = approx $88 (+ re-inspection costs and cleaning if required)
  14. Exactly the same as importing from Japan. You would be importing under SEVS. Look at the stickied thread at the top of the imports section for the link to 'VSB 10' on the DOTARS website. It will tell you everything you need to know in regards to the process.
  15. http://greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/704.pdf Here's a link to one of the Greddy temp installation manuals for an electrical gauge. You can see it has a sensor which feeds behind the standard water temp sensor, no fluids run through it.
  16. So what would be the difference if I had, say, a single 044, and that fails (ie only partially working, providing less than full flow) - wouldn't that also result in a lean out? Just asking as I have spoken to a couple of ppl with similar power requirements who have said to leave a second pump in there as insurance. If I have two pumps and one fails, wouldn't the second pump meet the rail pressure by pumping more fuel to compensate for the failed pump? (up to the limit of the pump) Oh yeah, in response to my query about the extra fitting, I had a think about it and if that GTR pump is my external one (but located out of the boot), it would need the fitting to connect back through the lid to the filter sock. Just a hassle to properly look as half of the hoses run through the GTR boot bracing.. so hoses would need to be removed and I'm not quite there yet!
  17. Hmm.. just noticed another peculiarity. When I compared the pic of my tank lid with one that performance-wise posted in a DIY thread, I seem to have a fourth fitting there, which doesn't look factory. Not sure why (I haven't had time to look inside the tank yet). I don't know why they would do that?
  18. Personal photos have not been enabled on the forums.
  19. Anyone recommend some narrow air filters in a similar situation? I have custom piping for my AFMs but they are literally next to each other, not more than 1cm apart. 2 Power Intakes will not fit next to each other.
  20. shameless plug i have a nismo FPR left over for sale brand new boxed $150 posted to you express pm me if your intersted
  21. Take a butter knife (or similar) wrap a piece of cloth around it, and just lever it around the surround. There is just one clip you need to find and unclip to get it off. Even if you just move the knife around you'll find it.
  22. OK just took off the clamps and they are both Bosch 979s, which from the Bosch spec sheet flows 165L/hr @ 12v and 73.6 psi. Based on what you guys said, it looks like I could probably achieve my goals with a single 044. Just worried I guess. Is there any validity in my assumption that using 2x pumps would somehow help to prevent catastrophe in the event of one pump failing? (i.e. if one pump fails the other would provide the required flow to meet the pressure?).
  23. You getting one for insurance purposes Shan?
  24. PM's replied to. Tickets are still available. Concert is at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on the 25th of October.
  25. Another related qu: Anyone mounted fuel pumps underneath the car? Where would be best place to do so?
