  1. Hehe someone needs their aligner recalibrated that's for sure
  2. definately hard to find a decent aligner these days, especially on the gold coast! Once you find a good one, stick with them. FYI, the rear camber does have some slight adjustment but it's SFA from memory. The camber settings are pretty good. I would take a guess that your pretty much at standard ride height ? Also, just so you are aware, they have set 0.5mm toe IN on the front, and 1.0mm toe IN on the rear. Not too bad, should drive heaps better than the previous alignment rofl. SK recommends dialing in a neutral toe setting on the front and approx 2mm toe in on the rear. Good to hear you got looked after.
  3. Can anyone confirm that mounting shoulder straps on rear seatbelt mounts is acceptable and would pass scrutineering at a CAMS/AASA event? I understand you have to be within a certain angle, has anyone had any major issues and had to screw around and strengthen/mount on parcel shelf....
  4. Hey thanks guys for all the replies. Managed to get hold of one off a member close by. cheers
  5. AFAIK, that's a EVC 5. I have english instructions but not on me. Currently in QLD but will be back in Melb tonight so shoot me a PM later on tonight if you haven't got anything and I can send it to you.
  6. I wouldn't be concerned about the bracket hanging off the shocker itself. I can't remember what exactly they are for. Something along the lines of different model which has brake line mounted off shock or something like that. The little bolt and spacer though i have nfi what their for. I never had to use them on my bilsteins though. Best bet i guess would be to either PM Sydneykid or try and give either Sydney Shock Absorbers or Quadrant Suspension in Victoria a call to confirm.
  7. Standard or aftermarket engine management? If it is standard ecu, sounds like knock sensor's could be detecting knock and pulling timing.....
  8. As title suggest, standard ecu for R32 Gts-t? Preferably manual if possible Anyone got one they want to get rid of?
  9. Try these guys http://www.advancedalloys.com.au/home/ Did a repair on my front rims. Awesome job, but can be a little exxy.
  10. I don't know for certain but as far as I am aware, if you get EPA'd, a testing station must be within X amount of kms of your registered address. Now if you have an address in WA for example I can't see how they can make you attend an inspection in Victoria. My car is registered in another state as I am in Victoria temporarily but I have always be interested to get to the bottom of these things. I can't see how legally you can receive a yellow sticker if your car is registered interstate unless of course it was for obvious unroadworthy items such as bald tyres, lights not working etc. Even then I still wonder whether they police have any legal right to put the car off the road?? Interesting discussion none the less
  11. I'd be trying Nissan Spare Parts Australia or utilising some contact with Nissan Japan
  12. Here you go, have a read http://syphon.au.com/EVC5%20Manual.pdf

  15. Part number for wheel stud is:- 43222-50J00-
  16. My guess would be the thermofan you have doesn't cut it. I would be looking at a double thermofan setup which moves some decent amounts of air, or see if you can fit a clutch fan back in there some way. Also make sure you are turning the heater to HOT, so that you are bleeding the water lines and heater core aswell. Good luck.
  17. hrmm gotta be quick around here....
  18. What condition are the injectors in, and what type of exhaust is that for the R33 ? pics at all if it's an aftermarket zorst...
  19. flagger RB30 thermostat part number is 21200-42L01.
  20. No worries, will post up tomorrow with some more information. edit* just done some quick searching on these forums and it appears rb30 and rb20 thermostats are identical heat range, being 76.5 degrees. Part number for the rb20det unit from an R32 is 21200-42L05 apparently.. I can confirm a part number for the rb30 unit, i do have some in stock at work as far as i know. Can check a price for you and let you know. Post back tomorrow
  21. flagger, I am not really certain if the part numbers are identical nor the temps they both open at but I know that they both fit. If you like I can find out for certain tomorrow, as I do have a contact at Nissan who will suss it out for me. From memory though, the rb30 thermostat opens at 76.5 degrees or there abouts. No difference in thermostat as far as i am aware between rb30e and rb30et, so i could not see a problem running the 30 thermo on a 20 etc.

I have a pair of Gaerne SG10's which I want to sell. Bought them brand new and used them for 3 months. I am around size 11 - 12. These boots set me back around $450-500, best I could afford at the time and damn comfortable. I liked the Tech 8's and 10's but found them to be have a very thin profile. Bit too tight around the tops of feet if ya know what I mean Link to boots http://gaerne.rideshop.com/catalog/product...p;products_id=5 I still wonder if I should sell them though lol, such an awesome boot. Maybe I should keep em just incase I buy another bike in the near future
  23. And just so you know, the thermostat is the same as used on an RB30 aswell so you won't have a problem sourcing a new one, don't buy anything but a genuine nissan thermostat, the rest are junk IMO
  24. I would be looking at Option numbers 2 or 3 first before changing the clutchfan. If you have no idea how old the radiator is, and it looks a little tired, chances are it's due for a cleanout. Take it to a decent radiator place and have them do a proper cleanout and flush on it, none of this jam a hose through it and hope its ok Otherwise, its possible you have a sticky thermostat, which could explain why its only overheating every now and then. Occasionally frees up and runs fine, but sticks most of the time... Possibly then look at clutch fan... Does it only overheat when stationary or at speeds below say 60, once on the highway it cools down? Suspect clutch fans, and blocked radiators seem to show similiar symptoms, so can be hard to judge.
