LOL too right, was a big mistake thats for sure. Never the less a good lesson. Recreational rego sounds ok, would be interesting to see where abouts there is to ride, as my other bike I had when I was in QLD, and around the gold coast, the only places to ride legally were few and far between Best of luck with the new bike Starion Go the Yamies

    New Toy

I always regret selling my bike, I had a brand new YZ250F which was my first bike and surprise surprise, I came off a few times, the last time I smashed my wrist into pieces and was off work for 2 1/2 months. No income and a recovering wrist, I sold my bike to get some money in the bank after becoming very poor Maybe one day I will buy another bike, and steer clear of motocross tracks Love your bike Starion, you should have a ball! Russell, you look like you can ride pretty well for a limited time on bikes. I was way too soft to attempt to pop a mono
  3. Buy a brand new one through nissan, but be prepared to pay around $350 - $400 for it Does the switch feel fubar? doesnt click properly etc? if so id say its the switch. Had the same prob but wouldnt go up, went down fine. Replaced switch with brand new unit, works a treat now.
  4. IMHO and many others would be able to back this up Don't go anywhere other than Yarra Valley Automatics.
  5. lol perhaps read a little better, he said 270rw Horsepower
  6. Paul, possibly you could also shoot Nismogirl a PM as I am certain she had the A-LSD diff in her 33 rebuilt, she might be able to give you some sort of information and costs etc..... just a suggestion
  7. yawnnnnnn boring zzzzzz over and out
  8. Try this thread, you should be able to read that one, links on that page and the next page http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=41914.60
  9. It's a shame the event didn't spark more interest amongst the SAU boys and girls. Some interesting points there Paul which i can see are quite relevant. Being the only 33 in attendance, I have to say I was quite disappointed and felt like a bit of an outkast That said, the white whale and myself were welcomed by all (except PaulOX,lol), and I had an absolute blast! You guys missed what would have to have been one of the most enjoyable spectacles I think I will witness in my lifetime. Alas, plenty of 31 members missed the opportunity also cause their soft Anyways, NDSOC are holding a huge event at Phillip Island next year on the Easter weekend. If I am not mistaken, the Gibson cars may well be making another appearance there, and here is hoping Terry and Rod will be keen to iron out some more cobwebs on the old battlers!
  10. The last time I had my car at Matt's he said his dyno read around 10% too low, and seemed to think one of the most accurate dyno's in SE QLD was at Chiptorque in Nerang.
  11. Check out the following link and see for yourself. http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/t...s%2flinup2.html GL
  12. fyi, just looking through FAST, it appears they only sell the lower control arm/balljoint as a complete unit, which is pretty much what they do for more of their cars. So sounds about right, and yes very expensive lol
  13. Try some of the Toyo T1R's. Shouldnt be too far off your price range in that size. If your in the eastern suburbs, give Paul a call at Edgars Tyrepower 577 Blackburn Road Nottinghill, 3168 VIC Phone: (03) 9560 9433 Fax: (03) 9560 9411
  14. Or if you want to see a whole range of Nissans in full action on the skid pan, come to the Skyline Nationals
  15. Col, you probably been told this a few times already, speak to Jim Berry. Although i presume you might have and got a fright at the cost? I am no clutch expert myself, but thought for that kind of power level, you be looking at atleast some sort of button clutch in the exedy range. Jim Berry clutch is suppose to hold a heap of power and still have a nice pedal feel and easy to drive on the street....i did say supposedly He is in qld, go have a chat to him hehe
  16. Tell him to fill it with auto trans fluid and a little moreys heavy duty oil stabilizer. Apparently around 20-25% morey's, and the rest whatever oil you choose. If that doesn't get it shifting, its time for a rebuild or replacement box
  17. If you look closely at the new exedy range, sports tuff is nothing more than a name which covers a particular range of "sports" clutch kits. From their website, it seems the Sports tuff units are australian made, although I have just put a HD unit in a mates r31, it was a sports tuff kit with the homosexual colored pressure plate, but the clutch plate was still a exedy japan unit. As you can see in these links, it explains the different units, but not all of them. http://www.exedy.com.au/products2.asp?type=sports%20tuff http://www.exedy.com.au/products2.asp?type=racing This link shows the part numbers for an R33 GTS-t. http://www.exedy.com.au/catalogue-details.asp?id=38999997 Bass Junky, I am not sure exactly what your clutch is, but I know that predator just recently put a Cushioned Button Sports in his R32, and the clutch plate is identical to yours. His pressure plate was different, but I assume you have a later model 33 with push-type arrangement? That being said, predator paid around $450 for his...... Gee exedy know how to make it confusing hehe
  18. I have a feeling these can be purchased through Nissan Australia. Quote them part number 41080-21U25. Hardware Kit- Front Disc Brake Pad This is a kit for one caliper so you will a quantity of 2 for both front calipers. It includes those sensor shims aswell as the backing plate shims for pads. As for the rear quote them 44080-43P25. 1 set does 1 caliper. Hardware Kit - Rear Disc Brake Pad Good luck
  19. This should be it, I have never done a stagea before hehe
