  1. 220rwkw is insanely good!! Pulled 173rwkw this weekend. Have got a Stillen airbox, Z tube, V+ Plenum spacer and HFC. So, as the others are asking - what mods are you running? I think it's time for me to get my car chipped (and add more mods). Now I don't feel so great about pulling 173
  2. If you check their website, they have swaybars for 07-08 Infiniti G35's. I know the Infiniti model was updated in 07 to include the HR engine, however, amongst the many cosmetic/drivetrain/suspension etc revisions, I don't think the chassis dimensions were changed though (correct me if I'm wrong). However that being said, the Z33 sway bar should fit the V35, I think the chassis was longer but not sure how much wider. This suggests they fit: http://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspens...s-350z-g35.html
  3. For KU19s? If so that is an excellent price. The KU19's are 2 weeks out of Melbourne (i.e. none in WA) so he's put in a back-order - should be in Perth by around mid-Oct. Are Tyres generally cheaper for you lot on the East Coast? A lot of stuff seems to be a bit pricier in WA . But not by the margin between what you paid and what I got quoted
  4. Hi guys, Well it's time to get new tyres again (for the rear only thank god). Currently running Kumho KU31 - 275/30/R19 The tyre place has given me the option of a few (all 275/30/R19): - Toyo T1R: $500 per tyre, fitted & balanced - B/Stone RE001 - waiting on quote - Kumho KU19 - $370 per tyre, fitted & balanced - Kumho KU31 - $345 per tyre, fitted & balanced These prices seemed to be better than what I was getting through a wholesaler. I've been told the RE001s and the T1Rs won't last me long but just grip like all hell and I'd probably never exploit the true potential of those tyres by driving on normal roads. (running -2 rear camber) I'm leaning towards the KU19's. Any thoughts? cheers
  5. Agreed. Not sure why I used the word "brighter". My lights are bright as it is, however, there's something sexy about going a little bit into the blue part of the spectrum. Just a tad bit not ridiculously blue. Cheers for pointing that out though
  6. Spoke to my mate. He got them from www.gadgetmaster.com.au I had a brief look, doesn't look like they stock the Phillips kits, however that being said, I think the current kits they stock look pretty decent. Have a look.
  7. One of my mates just got his 06 V35 sedan imported two days ago. If he gets it registered in time he'll come down! Looking forward to it guys.
  8. Fair point, didn't think of that earlier How do you find the difference? in terms of steering, body roll etc. Just trying to toss up whether to get them or not. Cheers
  9. Hi guys, Just a quick question - have used Mobil 1 and Valvoline, both Full Synthetic rated at 5w-30. It's time for an oil change and I was wondering if any of you have tried Penrite SIN Plus 5w-60. Haven't seen many brands with 5w-60 around - any thoughts? Cheers, Tarun
  10. I don't have aftermarket sway bars but I thought I'd ask you anyway - I got told by a mate who's a mechanic that my car's stock front sway bar is pretty thick as it is and as such would be pretty good, so he didn't recommend an aftermarket sway bar. I'm not too familiar with suspension mods, nonetheless, have you noticed a big difference overall compared to stock? Is there a notable decrease in body roll? Apologies - I know I haven't answered your question but thought you'd be the best person to ask
  11. Got my number plate lights from Jaycar Electronics, costed me like $5-$10. They're just white LEDs (U can get blue, red, yellow etc) That pic you posted is pretty sweet. Is your V35 a 2006 model? If you notice, they've got projector lights, which only got featured on the '06 and newer models And Projectors + HIDs = Even Better LOL. Majority of the V's in Aus though are pre '06. If you have a look at the black one - it's running 6000K HIDs, a more whiteish tinge to the light. 6700K and above get a bit more blueish (the second pic). Have a look and see which ones you prefer. I think the legal limit in Aus is 6000K, but I could be wrong (who cares right? ).
  12. I had a pair of Supervision Deluxe's in my old Accord - didn't like 'em too much - too directional and not dispersed enough Currently have 6000k Phillips HIDs in my coupe and love em (good spread and good intensity). Would like to go a bit brighter (around 7000k) but they do the job - so +1 to Phillips. I sourced 'em through a mate who was doing a bulk buy so will find out where he got them from and will get back to you. P.S - that link David posted is really good!
  13. Hi guys, Just wondering if any of U will be at Powercruise (30 Sep - 3 Oct)? It's my first time there so thought it would be good to catch up with a you guys (seeing as I'm new to SAU) . If not then I'll see y'all at the October cruise. Cheers, Tarun
  14. Hey, It's an '03 Silver coupe. From what I've seen around Perth that seems to be the most common colour =P Still love it all the same!
  15. Hi guys, Introduced myself on the 'Newbies' post earlier -I'm Tarun, had my v35 for around a year. Would love to be a part of this cruise. Count me in =D Thanks for the heads up earlier Victor
  16. Hi guys, New to SAU. I'm Tarun, have had my V35 in Perth for around a year now. Have already delved into the threads and have gained a substantial insight into the world of V35s! Thanks to all those responsible =D Will definitely be on here more often, Cheers tarun
