  1. Was that down Mundaring Wier rd? I read anti-laggers boasting they can do that in 10 mins. It's 24 km long!
  2. Dunno, I think that will look a bit ghetto.
  3. I just got a trial rear bar put on and the tip of my 'zaust just sits inward of the outer most part of the bar - sorry the pixxor is slightly crap. This makes me intuitively worry that the part of the bar closest to the tip is going to melt, being as it is subject to the hot 'zaust gases. I can already see the 2-pac getting a little burnished. Any ready solutions for this? Can I move the 'zaust back a little? What would I need to do this? Or can I get a heat shield or something? I don't have anywhere to knock one up myself so can I get one off the shelf?
  4. How did the cops know where you were heading? I saw the one cop cruising around the 2nd meet but that was it.
  5. I would officially endorse that request.
  6. Are you an official SAU 'greeter' or something? I am just questioning the legitimacy of your 'official' welcome...
  7. Well it was my first cruise and I'm no great driver as well. I gotta say some of the driving was pretty mental and I was a bit intimidated, still sitting at the lights early on surrounded by several cammed and LOUD 32's and 33's was a sight (and sound) to behold when they went green. Best to just stay at the back I think if you are not too confidant/skilled. Last thing you want to do is be pressured to go over your limits.
  8. SSR type-F on my 33 GTST. 18x8.5 +35 on front 18x9.5 +35 on rear All good w/ no rubbing, no need to roll guards. A mild conservative fit I suppose you could say.
  9. That 34 needs more low from memory. There was about 4 or 5 white skylines in a row at the first meet right?
  10. Probably shouldn't say, but I am assuming they used one of their junior guys to do it. No harm done really.
  11. Well I took it to the shop and they checked it for leaks...with the result that they could not find any. Mech reckons there may have been an air bubble or something from when the coolant was last changed. Level seems stable now but keeping an eye on it.
  12. No I think Cefiro's are ok honestly...
  13. Got lost exiting from the 2nd meet point, stupid 4x4 held me up. Bit too much 'spirited' driving for me. Good to see lots of Skylines. Gave thumbs up to fellow white 33 driver on the Kwinana who must have bailed early also.
  14. My pressure gauge reads zero or half-way. I think the sensor is bad.
  15. I meant that as in any car modified has been 'f**ked with'. I think untouched stock cars always have that extra allure. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I wasn't trying to say you had done any bad work on it. Anyway this was not a thread where you have attempted to sell your car, instead you asked for opinions on what it is worth...and got several answers. I would never dream of wading into any 'for sale' thread and offering negative opinion.
  16. Well no offense but it is a 20 y/o auto that has been fcuked with. I know WA is silly money for cars so I admit it may go for more in actuality. I'm not hating on A31's but bear in mind how much is a 34 4 door auto? 9 grand maybe and half the age.
  17. Ten Four is basically right except for his bigoted hate of white 33's. /Personally I quite like the 4 door 34 so long as it is manual.
  18. Well they said it was a lot of work anyway.
  19. I think a 2JZ is. That is what it used to have in it apparently anyway?
  20. Xspeed are putting a 1JZ-GTE into a Supra at the moment and they said they are having to re-wire everything, so I guess they have the expertise.
  21. No need to turn this into an R33 hate fest.
  22. Yeah but he was approaching Mach 1 at the end of that last 11 sec pass - yeah it was a very poor 60' time - his old spoiler was initiating a nasty Prandtl-Glauert singularity so it had to go.
  23. I wouldn't want an auto or tiptronic, but that is just me. Gated manual FTW!
