I'm not sure. I haven't played GT since GT2, have been playing Forza. In Forza 3 I had to convert a R33 GTR to RWD to make it like a GTST but it still keeps the RB26 so it's not a real GTST of course.

^ ha ha looks like the tunnel turned into a river. Just driving around S. Perth now it looks like almost every parked up car has been ruined by hail. Some shiny beemers and mercs all ruined.

I had just got in a Taxi to go to Xspeed to pick my car up when the storm hit. The taxi driver sheltered under a tree but the taxi still suffered dozens of dents all over, and I spotted a few broken windshields later. The hail was mental. Intersections all flooded on the drive to xspeed. Spotted stranded car including a Porsche 911 . Got to Xspeed, decided not worth driving back in my car. +1000 to Hanson for having all the cars inside when the storm came. Anway, so had a beer and got a Tax back eventually. Lots of traffic lights down on the way back, flooding etc. South Perth all blacked out (just got power back). I walked past the zoo with my flashlight...the sun shades at the entrance were partially shredded by the hail, some trees fallen down as well. I stopped to have a look at some of the cars left in the car park and all had dozens of dents all over. Gutted! Write offs? How do you remove all those dents? So lucky my car was under cover at xseed.

I'd say that at least 2/3 of the exampled for sale on the interweb have an FMIC.

Ones I have seen on the net all look to have been universally f**ked with over the years. Will probably still take a look at some. Thanks for the info 'cos I didn't know the gearbox was a weakness. I've been thinking if I really one a car like this AND my GTST anyway, so I may just get something a bit newer, slower, and 'nicer'; a 'respectable' but still slightly sporty car if you like. So I was thinking of a Toyota Altezza RS200. Not very fast but a 'nice' car w/out being bland and from a jelly mold. The sort of think you could pick a chick up in and not make her think you are a hooning wanker. I'll keep the GTST for hooning about. I will still see if there is a GOOD GTiR about though at an ok price.

Thinking about picking one up. Any opinions, experiences? They are getting on a bit now but seem fairly cheap. Would be for a daily type drive.

It's what groups of undisciplined and unsupervised kids and young men do...they egg each other on to more and more daring/reckless activities. On their own they probably wouldn't do it.
