    Sold R35v Gtr

Probably better for people to wait after the gold rush ends... I wonder how the people that paid $80,000 for an STi back in the day feel now when they look in the garage. Best bet is to go down to your local Nissan dealer and make a deposit, then wait. edit: Kloster group is a Nissan dealer... so I guess, if that dealer knows its allocation and has cars left then it is probably good to get in on that.

From the latest Option video Vol 166...I actually bought some copies for people interested in the drift world series thing and of course someone "forgot" to pay so I have a spare one lying around if anyone is interested.

Where there is a will there is a way... Nomuken is already working on it... it has a looong way to go as you can see The subtitle in the last pic says クラッチペダルがないのできったけはサイドと慣性使えない Which means... Because there is no clutch pedal you can't use handbrake or inertia. Which either makes no sense or is an indication of how bad my Japanese is.

A set of crappy tyres on the back, drop the "noseshaft" and dump it to the ground (no GT-R upper arms available yet so the camber is a bit manky. But that is ok for drifting...
  5. Force is just energy doing something... everything is energy, you, me, the tree, the rock, everything, yes. Even between the land and the ship.If an unstoppable force meets an immovable object then the universe explodes. The wall does get hotter, the person gets tired. Energy is conserved.
  6. Maybe it is actually an X-wing
  7. Well everything was invented in Japan so actually to be correct it is called a chibi hane http://search1.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/sea...ccat=2084197400 Chibi of course means small, and hane means wing... So the correct name for it is "small wing"... LOL Unless you think everything was invented in Germany where the wing on the 911 is called a bürzel which means ducktail. The fact things are called Drift-XXXX is purely marketing, just as previously everything used to be called Drag-XXXX, pretty soon everything will be called GT-XXXX and after that something else will come along.
  8. If you can make force with no energy then you my friend have just discovered perpetual motion. You can buy an R35 with the Nobel Prize money!

Actually it does have the option to translate the text automatically, but obviously that is limited by the quality of the translation software.Hehe, if anyone has seen your car Streeter they will know you really should charge more...
  10. 18x9 is juuuuuust in the size limit for shipping to Australia by sea so you need to repack pack them from how you will get them. EMS will cost a lot if you want to take that option or I guess you could just take 40kg of excess baggage on the plane...You might be able to get a set of damaged ones for under $1,000 but $1,250 is more realistic for a set you would actually want. GT-R wheels are way too popular now that Toyota sedans are the new cheap performance car. I suggest you enjoy your holiday rather than worry about picking up some old wheels. :sorcerer:
  11. The end of episode 6 is pretty cool... IF ANYONE TELLS ME WHAT HAPPENS I WILL KILL THEM... with a magical car!
  12. HEhe... it is funny, spend enough time in Japan and you are less interested in the latest GT-R and more interested in the latest Wagon R Stingray or Alphard. I went to the Nissan dealer today to have a look and was sort of disappointed, I guess I was expecting too much. To be honest I was more interested in the Nismo Fairlady Z next to it. Then the Fuga 450GT caught my eye... Then I left in a shitty old Silvia
  13. I suspect the first Australian market one will be "sold" very soon... it is probably here already Well that is what I would do if I was Nissan Oz.
  14. http://www.dr1ft.jp-a.googlepages.com/dr1ft.jp%3A%3Aevents I just updated the site calendar with events on during TAS 2008 I just need to start making some maps and things. If anyone is actually going to go to one of the events let me know and I will try to make my first info sheet PDF thing.
  15. With slip ons, I usually tighten them up on the car. drop the car, tighten them up. drive the car around a bit turning left and right and tighten them up and then I am good to go. They usually have a bit of a turn left in them when I do it so they do seem to settle as you load. This was when I was running 2 slips totalling 18mm (10+8). Prior to that I was running 3 (5+5+8). A tyre shop has told me that you only need tyres speed rated to 100km/h and a million other interesting facts so I wouldn't worry too much about what they say.
  16. If you want to go to Signal... not that much there really You need to go to Toyokawa station on the Osaka-Monorail (work out the route using the website above, in fact you should spend every living on that website planning your trips before you come to Japan). Then either jump in a Taxi or just walk the 1.7km to the workshop and ummm, have a look at some purple cars.
  17. Here is some info... the closest train station is called Eganosho (li恵我ノ荘)on the Kintetsu - Minami Osaka line to work out how to get there just type your local station and Eganosho into this website and it will tell you which trains to take. Jorudan Train Route Finder :: CLICK ME When you get to the train station you will have to take a Taxi to Trial, again the best way to do that is to hand the driver the address and one of the maps below. If you want to say Trial in Japanese you say something like Toe-Rye-A-Loo but that probably won't help at all. Then hand over around ¥1,070 and look at some fancy cars. After you are at Trial you should ask them where Up Garage is and you can walk there. Also in the taxi you will pass a really cool small shop with Time Attack GT-Rs that I have never looked at.

Well here it is... my first ever bilingual auction! I am not sure how I can find it through eBay but it had a seperate part for an English description. http://page22.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/l5001090
  19. Trial is close to an Up Garage and a new GT-R tuning workshop. Signal is in the north of Osaka. I will work out some directions for you soon. Will you have transport or just trains+legs?
  20. Hehe, didn't think he swings that way... heheYeah, Streeter rules... I heard he beat Chuck Norris in a fight
  21. Are you in Japan? Then all you need to do is find a printer and show them this, pictures are the best way. You can stuff around for ages misunderstanding each other but it does get tiring. If you are not in Japan, the best way to get them is to ask me!
