Thanks... I just have to wait for the next Drift Tengoku issue so I can add any more I find. Directions to circuits etc, etc... The site http://dr1ft.jp/ will be exclusively drift so I will never add those events to it... But I am working with someone on another site so those sort of events should probably turn up there.
-
Yeah it is mine, I quite often get PMs asking about events and other questions about how to get to places so I thought I should make something that can answer those questions. It still needs quite a lot of work, and it is drift specific (no other sorts of events) so perhaps less useful for people on SAU.

Check out http://dr1ft.jp for a bunch of event information, click the EVENTS link for a calendar

I can get them from Trial I guess... I live sort of close. Just give me 10% of the purchase price for the trouble and cover the postage and we are sweet This car is usually sitting out the front of Trial so if anyone is ACTUALLY interested in it I might be able to find out answers to any questions you have.

LOL great photo!!! Fortunately 20 hours of driving means that even a racing seat is a comfy place to sleep sometimes. Yeah, I got some very big doubletakes from some of the safari park customers.I am sorry I was busy every time I was talking to you... I had just finished filming that Blue S14 and was hoping to finally catch up with you for a non stressed out chat and I couldn't find you. I was running towards the tunnel just as you went through. It was like some bad movie!!! Anyway, I hope you had a good time! Nice to meet you as well!

Well the parts came from near Tokyo overnight but I was really busy filming video and various other junk so I didn't actually touch my car until the drifting was over. But yes, after fixing a broken wheel bearing that went on the way up, I was able to get a total of about ummm 20 laps in Then on the last lap on the touge course my rear knuckle thingo broke without having hit anything. It was obviously cracked previously and I should really just be glad that it didn't break on the South course which I had just been doing! The car did right hand turns really well! I have never seen this break before, but another friend with an S14 had exactly the same thing break in the same place!!!! It would have been good to have someone to go up with, next time (if there is a next time) I think I will take a truck and another person (you). But unfortunately the car was so full of junk nobody else could fit in the car. Actually I filmed him doing some driving in the FD which will be in a High Performance Imports DVD quite soon. The traffic back home was a bit of a killer... between traffic jams, once a year drivers and bousouzoku it took a loooong time.

It was nice to meet you and that other guy with the 180SX. Where are the pics of my broken suspension I was pretty busy/tried/annoyed with filming and a broken car so hopefully I wasn't too much of a jerk! I wanted to say goodbye, but hopefully i will see you next time!

Yeah the fine is pretty nasty... I won't be able to go out and drive at MSC unfortunately because of that. No events in July, sorry mate.

Yeah, did that already, it is great. But sort of cheating really... Hehehe, the same reason they tell you that a person you never taught before said "you are their favorite teacher"

I am probably too old to pull it off, but I really wish I had sex with a legit J-schoolgirl in her uniform. I am probably too old to pull it off, but I really wish I had sex with a legit gyaru. Not a pair of life's nobler goals, but goals nonetheless. I wish I had gone drifting on the street much more often than I did! Getting my Japanese to a conversational level would be good too.

Transliteration rarely works... so for me that has the same "feeling" as "freedom of life". But the main litmus test is whether a Japanese person looks at it and goes WTF? So anyone with a Japanese person near their computer should check it out and give some feedback.

I would write it like this 悠悠自適 ゆうゆうじてき

A guy at Nova got done for drink driving on the weekend and ummmm... well this story. http://www.japantoday.com/jp/news/401891 ICHIKAWA — Police obtained an arrest warrant Tuesday for a 28-year-old Japanese man after they discovered the naked body of a 22-year-old British woman buried in sand in a bathtub on the balcony of a fourth-floor condominium unit in Chiba Prefecture on Monday night. The man, Tatsuya Ichihashi, fled from the condominium in the city of Ichikawa when police officers visited it on Monday night after the Nova language school the woman worked for contacted them to say they had been unable to reach her. The police said they have identified the woman as Lindsay Ann Hawker. Ichihashi, who escaped from the scene despite the presence of several police officers, is being sought on a charge of abandoning her body sometime in late March. Police said he was acquainted with Hawker and may have been involved in her killing. After Ichihashi made his getaway, police searched the apartment and found Hawker's body in the bathtub on the balcony around 10 p.m. The bathtub contained a large amount of sand that completely covered the body except for part of a hand, and she had what appeared to be several assault wounds to the face and arms, according to investigations. Some clothes that Hawker appears to have worn were found in a room at the condominium. The exact cause of death is expected to be determined through an autopsy, police said. Hawker arrived in Japan in October last year and lived in a residence in Funabashi city adjacent to Ichikawa with two other women — one from Australia and the other from Canada. The school in Tokyo where Hawker worked as an English language instructor notified the police Monday afternoon that they could not contact her. Police officers visited Hawker's residence and found a memo containing Ichihashi's name and contact details and visited his condominium Monday night. When the officers questioned the man, he bolted, they said. Ichihashi, whose profession is unknown, is said to be around 180 centimeters tall and weighing around 70 kilograms. He was wearing a red sweater at the time of his escape. Police searched Ichihashi's condominium Tuesday morning and found a bag and ID belonging to Hawker. Police said Ichihashi had visited Hawker's residence a few days earlier. The bathtub is about 120 centimeters long, 70 cm wide and 50 cm in depth. It appeared to have been removed from the bathroom, the police said, adding the sand was probably for use in gardening.

http://www.amkread.co.jp/Pages/ShopKanto/RsYamamoto.html - Google Translate Version I guess if you have anything specific to ask, just email them... in Japanese probably

Thanks for the hopeful translations but I guess I can't really complain considering how often I "used to" go The fine I got was for July 8th 2006!!! I knew other people had been caught, but I thought I had gotten away with it because I stopped going around September. But unfortunately not. The best thing about it is that it has finally put enough of a cash problem my way that I need to get out of Nova which everyone thinks is a good thing. But yes, insanity, unfortunately it will stop me drifting, but only for a few months and I think my bosouzoku career has reached its end. But I will be back and heading to the track as soon as the wallet recovers. Thanks for the nice replies guys, they cheered me up a bit

Driftcat And Uras Aus New Drifter.
Laurence replied to STATUS's topic in General Automotive Discussion
That old SR was an animal, I only heard it on video but it was awesome. I can't wait to see some RB26 powered Kuroi style runs from Cat... I hope there are plans for the new Uras GT aero to go on it after the current aero gets damaged. I saw it at a car show recently and it looks awesome -
This is a horrible video, I suggest not watching it if you like animals. But Japan isn't all Hello Kitty and loose socks
