  1. I am heading back from Japan on 3rd March - 12th March and I have some extra space in my luggage, if anyone wants anything off Yahoo or somewhere then send me a link and I will hook you up!
  2. My Japanese teacher loved it... LOL I might as well spam her site while I am here for any Osaka peoples http://www.nihongogym.net/
  3. I have no idea what I am doing here in Osaka. Trying to learn to drift, teaching kid and other junk I really don't know. The only thing I know is that Australia has no real attraction, Japan has no real future and American would be great if it wasn't for all the Americans. Difficult stuff.
  4. Just incase you are trying to discourage him from using the 235's on the 9.5" wheels it is very common to see 225/40 on a 18x9.5...
  5. They are 6.5" so putting 225's on is a bit like Shaq screwing a midget! It will eventually get in, but it won't be pretty. Because I am a drift ricer I run 215/45 on 9"
  6. LOL, I saw one on the weekend! So yes, you are right masa motorsports made it!
  7. oops forgot to change login....
  8. The only time I have seen something like this was a guy who was about as big as me, which is damn big for a Japanese guy. He was leering over a girl on the train and making her squirm, so I thought I would return the favour and just came up and glared at him. At least it gave the poor girl a rest. Another time I heard a girl talking to a lady in hushed satanic voices, I decided it would be a good time to practice my introductions on her! But I think this girl was actually insane so I didn't even get her email.
  9. Looks like a very good start! You need to show these Aussies how to do offset J-style!!! I lowered my car more and put on some bigger spacers! But still it is not enough!!!! Did you see that HPI v10 has the video we took at Central Circuit! It will be nice when I get paid for it... Anyway, it is starting to snow! I think avoiding a Japanese winter was very good idea on your part! I can't wait to see what madness is in store for the S13! B)
  10. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=69...8877019&q=sushi I LOLed... maybe you will too... maybe not, sorry if it is a repost. lj
  11. LOL, to be honest I couldn't vouch for much after how many we had, I was a bit fuzzy at that stage! ^_^
  12. Well there is nothing like some refreshing bottled water really...
  13. You will NEVER guess what happened! I just updated the calendar
  14. That is just a trade plate for a workshop, just as in Australia they are abused to allow workshop staff to take unreg cars for a spin. Looks like the pic didn't survive the forum migration so here it is again.
  15. Updated, again... this is all too much!
  16. When you are changing engines more often than oil there is a problem

Nice to meet you Terry and good to see you Rezz! A truck parked on the exit of the practice corner, not too close but a bit too close for my current level of comfort. So I ended up heading home around 3am. It was a fun night, slowly getting better at this stuff...
  20. Hehe, you are a passionate young fellow... Just try to remember that many, but not all, of life's problems can be solved by smashing. :chairshot :bonk: Oh, and don't hang around in the same spot long enough so that they can come back with their footy team! (I learned that the hard way).

    I lost my job!

When I got your message I got on the wrong train! Sorry to hear it buddy! I finish at 9pm tonight, so it might be too late. But give me a call if you are up for anything tomorrow.
  22. Well that is because the word Jap is pretty rude, I would never say Jap to a Japanese person. I would possibly refer to an object as Jap though. But you are definitely right about shortening. I went to KFC and had a RED HOT SAND, which completely confused me until it clicked as RED HOT SAND(wich). There are lots of other examples, none of which spring to mind. As for politeness in English, I regularly tell my students that in English the longer it is the more polite it is (usually).
  23. I live in one of the seediest areas of Osaka and feel perfectly safe. Your gaijin powers will protect you. Basically males are very safe here.
