  1. it would have to come off, they wouldn't be able to balance it properly. unless they did it on the car i guess.........
  2. thanks dude! ive already PMd him if anyone else wants it, im now using my jedi mind trick to make you forget about it 'you do not want that throttle body, he is selling it to iain' so yeah, looks like its mine
  3. hahahah cant say that ive ever pissed myself before, so im really not going to agree with you! ill trust you on that one lol
  4. i can tell the difference! push forwards for the hotter setting of the two. i use the hot setting to get it warmed up, then back it off the the lower setting. my wife leaves hers on the hot setting all the time. sometimes in summer. its ok i know she is weird.
  5. how much you want for it?? if its larger than my VQ25DET one ill take it off your hands........
  6. no, its the same jatco 5 speed as a pajero, and the V35 also has the same 5 speed (internally, without the transfer case) and i cant remember what else uses it......
  7. might be easier to take the dump off and have a look there first before you try removing the whole turbo.
  8. nope i dont think so! only to about 3-3.2k then its locked all the way to........i guess 180 lol
  9. mine slips when its not locked, i just assumed thats the way it was supposed to drive. it brings the torque on smoothly so things dont break or wear out
  10. i dont think so on an M35, does it have that same feeling in 'manual' mode? or only in full auto?
  11. hmm ok, then it might not be the turbo. it might be head gasket if the dipstick is popping out. crank case vent might be blocked. you got water in the oil and vise-versa?
  12. you might have ripped the rubber piping or a hose mate, that sound might be the air escaping..........
  13. yeah it sounds easy (it sorta is) the hard part is finding the pin outs of the ECU. i have a sheet but when i metered the 12v out, it wasnt there! so i didnt want to risk it.... anyway we have 1 successful install anyway!
  14. you can get them new or 2nd hand, there are no moving parts so they are very reliable. there are 3 looms, main, injector and ignition. im not sure how they are sold these days since i got my ultimate 2nd hand. and the looms are all universal, however you can get plug and play things so you dont have to chop up the factory loom, you cut up the 'extension'. then comes the tuning but the best thing is if you plug it in and zero all the settings, you can drive it like normal till you can afford to get it to the tuners........
  15. so if you remove the shock and lower the LCA all the way down, the spring still wont slip in?? i thought with a shorter coil it would be easier to get in. then just use a jack under the LCA to push it back up to a point where you can bolt the new shock in
  16. i agree, ive never put more than 71L in and that was below empty..........
  17. yeah ive seen it in the 96 pages too hehe dont complain people, we go through it several times a week. so suck it up!
  18. nope still not working mate lol did you sleep last night?? remember the RS and RX saga??
  19. ok thanks for that scott! ill remember it, and yeah there was no M35 listed in the emanage book
  20. so look at the fuel gauge instead of KM left in the tank it will only go down with the fuel you use till you fill it back up
  21. ok this has motivated me, i wanna do the emanage install this weekend. ill prep all the wiring one night this week with spade plugs so its easy to remove if i ever need to
  22. lol i rekon they have leaned out the mixture, so whats the bet you WILL get better economy. but after a few tanks, now with the extra power youll just boot it everywhere!! i know i would hahah
  23. anything on the intake side? air filter or pod or something? the turbo isnt designed for top end power, its for mid-engine torque, thats why it runs out of puff at high rpm
  24. actually you ARE covered if your car is stolen with a TT and its running. theft is theft, you can leave your key in the car and youre covered. because unless you give the person permission, they have stolen the car anyway, but there is less of a chance of your car being stolen. but if it installed correctly, the engine will stop if the handbrake is disengaged or the clutch pedal pushed.......
  25. thats a good number let us know how you go with fuel economy, i bet it will be much better now!
