  1. yup! i bet you its the same as an M35 one!
  2. i might do it too, if i can be bothered lol
  3. its not the same as a Z32 AFM, its slightly smaller. my spare apexi pod wouldnt fit and i was hoping it would!!
  4. then you have a problem with your alarm/immobiliser. or if you dont have aftermarket, then you might have a door switch problem
  5. if its to fit in the standard airbox, then yes the V35 airbox is the same. AFAIK the Z33 may also take the same filter. come to think of it, its a fairly standard size and i bet you about 50% of japanese made cars will take it. when i put my blitz in, the back of the box listed probably over 100 car makes and models that it suited.......
  6. spotted a white C34 in pyrmont with full rollcage, nice brakes etc. also a VERY nice 260z (i think) in dark blue and had an FMIC reminded me of wangan midnight run!!
  7. hahah if you unlock the car, and dont open any door, it will lock itself again. open a door and it wont re-lock. easy!
  8. its not the gauge, its the shape of the tank, it tapers towards the bottom and has less volume in the lower 1/4 of the tank. its to stop te fuel sloshing around a big open area when youre low so the fuel pump always picksup fuel.
  9. mine still work and my car was strictly complied drive up against a wall about 2m away, put your lights on, roll the switch right to the top, give it a few seconds, then roll it to the bottom, youl see the beams move if they are still hooked up. the light heigh motors are NOT illegal, only when used in HID cars just go buy yourself an HID kit. thats what i did, never looked back.
  10. most alarms do this, and also the factory immobiliser (whatever it may be) should do this too. its not just a nissan thing, my honda did it, the scoob, the fiat does it too. its just a security feature incase you bump the remote
  11. dude i wanna be you!! lol
  12. shit, i was about to ask about them too lol
  13. turns out the new V an M series nissans (and a whole load of other cars too) dont use an engine fuel filter, only the sock/strainer intake time of filter.
  14. nissan will have both!
  15. i think they can replace with metal wheels and upgrade to a BB centre, it will increase spool times and better response but youll still have the low-down torque and lacking top end power. im not bagging the engine but thats how they were designed, and i kind of agree with wanting the factory response. however i rekon a piggy back computer might help fuel and power 'issues'
  16. do you know if you re-arrange the letters of 'bigmat' it spells 'shut the hell up'?? and ive just gone over 500km on this tank and the light isnt on yet
  17. ahh that would explain why we saw it!
  18. that was last week dude! actually my mate saw it and remembered you from the meet. he has dubbed you 'the king' lol
  19. put the tranny in the boot where its supposed to be its a stagea, there is shit loads of room haha
  20. im agreeing with lack of maintainence in japan causing some of these problems. im at 105k and touch wood this wont happen for a long time..... i really dont have the cash!
  21. you and me both mate hahaha
  22. we should setup a dyno-off!!
