swapped the transmission over yesterday with the 'good one' big thanks to craig (jetwreck) and andy (andy65b) for their assistance. the box is pretty much the same, just lacks that overdrive lockup problem which was a massive pain in the ass. cant wait for the shift kit to go in!!

make sure the bottom of the spring is correctly seated in the land. the rubber will have allowance for the spring end to sit into.

hmm i got a speeding fine last year, but that was the first one in around 5 years if i write a letter, they may correct the fine and send me another one with correct information.

So, i recieved a ticket in Coffs Harbour for performing an illegal U-Turn. The officer didnt fill out the ticket correctly. Should I dispute this? Perhaps the wrong question; what can I do to dispute this? Do I need to take it to court? Or will a letter suffice? Its not a spelling mistake, he has incorrectly filled out some essential fields to do with the date and the fine code. IMO, making the ticket null and void as these are fairly important.

yup im a left eye shooter! but im right handed. weird i know 90% of the time isnt good enough for me then again i only have shutter and aperture on the wheels. nothing else needs adjusting. cant compare the 5D2 and 7D with the D700 as their functionality was taken after people mentioned that common functions were buried in menus. which was why many people moved to the nikon pro-series. however, yeah i have buttons for ISO, WB, focus mode, meter mode etc

lol the 7D and 5D2 werent out when i got the D700, so i made a decsision as per the models available at the time. i still think i made the right decision for me. nothing is buried in menus, everything is right there and i can change them easily. each to their own! i only like bagging the canon guys because its fun lol

met a guy in coffs with a 7D, nice piece of kit but the main thing about the nikon that i cant stand with the canon is the rear wheel. my nikon has it opposite the front wheel, the canon has the large menu wheel as the activation for your 2nd function and it gets in the way of your face. i had a canon before i had the nikon, so yes i can speak from experience
