  1. correct, and the 17" RS/RX are 17x7"
  2. hahah good point! anyway, the car looks good. its something i need to do to my own car. looks awesome with the silver
  3. hahah yeah i got busted for illegally parking at work in front of the lifts, so now i must street park well, till i start my new job PS they are orange stripes.
  4. remind me next week to get the surround out for you
  5. exactly!! now what are you gonna do with the rest of the car? sell it back to them for 3/4 the cost??
  6. except that wont darken it very much. also i found using radio control car shell tiny spray was just as good (probably the same stuff) but was a hell of a lot cheaper
  7. a toggle switch would be better IMO, that way you can leave it in normal mode for when the wifey/dodgey mate drives it. plus then you dont have to press the brake while holding the button in
  8. the awesome becomes more awesomerer with the wire snip i have a factory size toggle switch to go into the 3 spots down on the right, they are all full on my car, so is the 4th one below
  9. i upgraded the firmware last week when i got it. yes its WD firmware i have a DLNA server already, but it will read the files off it. as for it BEING the server, no idea sorry.
  10. so epic fail with the 'wire cut' mod. must have cut the wrong wire. when i flicked the switch, it dropped a cylinder lol anyway, installed a western digital live media player in the car. works fine, mounted up front in one of those waste-of-space pocket things. cut out a hole (nice and bodgey) and mounted it in there. im getting a bit of noise in the picture so ill have to use a sheilded co-ax cable to the back of the car.
  11. i dont mind if that happens really. its good to have some input and ideas
  12. there is an entire forum devoted to M35s, just needs a little more info
  13. then jack it up, put 2 wheels on a gutter and crawl under it. if you do jack it up, be VERY careful as the shake the car. put a jack stand under it, or at LEAST a wheel in case it falls on you
  14. chuck the car up on a hoist, check the bearing in the tailshaft. check the yoke to make sure its not rattling. check the diff too. rattle things and see what moves and makes noises. is it leaking any fluid from the transmission? it may be the transmission! crunching is never good
  15. craig got his in, and he has an identical core to mine
  16. nah it fitted fine because its the same thickness as the stock radiator, when my 52mm core goes in, then ill probably have issues......
  17. did it make the noise before changing the fluid? RE4 takes a matic D and thats a matic D fluid. are you SURE its the transmission making the rattle?
  18. yup same with putting a V35 standard radiator in an M35, well, the 3.5L one. good work! looks nice in there.
  19. holy shit dude!! thats VERY bad.
  20. youd be surprised, drive one and then get back to me
  21. show us the other side
  22. im just going by the picture. if it works then forget what i said but it looks like you have a vacuum line or two going nowhere. but it just might be the picture
  23. if he has removed the factory actuator, then its not going to work setup like that. from the picture, it looks like its plumbed between the actuator line and the bleed into the inlet to the turbo (always vacuum) so it will never open the wastegate. is it supposed to be plumbed between a pressure line (ie after the turbo) and the actuator? if the stock solenoid was in there, then yeah ok it will work fine.........
  24. not when you buy it 2nd hand for 10k cheaper with every option ticked
  25. i saw your dad on saturday, he seemed ok, hows the car? did you nearly go past my house? bastard!! i was home too lol
