  4. ahhh i see. how boring. i thought there was more scandal
  5. well, there is a height adjustment on the strut, so i measured the length of the thread to the ring 'flange'. this pulled the entire wheel assembly up as its shortened the length of the strut. then i screwed the 'height' adjustment of the spring land till it was captive (originally they werent) and then a little more. i measured both sides and they are even now. the front i didnt touch as i couldnt move one of the rings for the spring land. ill attack it later and preload a little more.

  7. yeah i couldnt be bothered pulling the bushes out again and re-greasing them.
  8. depends on how much?? fixed the knock in the rear suspension, turns out the locking ring hadnt been done up and the strut was slowly unscrewing itself. problem solved! also reset the rear height, gave the springs some preload, so much better now. gotta do the fronts next. i think the front knock is actually a groan and its the new poly bushes are not greased up enough

  10. the radius rod bushes are the same! there are about 4 cars running around with them now

  12. yeah if i had the coin id be doing that! looks like most of the z33/v35 bushes are close enough for us to use. US G35 AWD models are VERY similar

  17. i got a knock in the front steering. either i didnt do something up tight enough (crappy rattle gun) or a tie rod end is on the way out. i hope the spare is in decent nick!
  18. if you see a silver M35 with nismo stripes around coffs, it will be me.
  19. if its black old looking oil, dont stress. if its honey coloured, then worry where its coming from hit it with some degreaser, same with the concrete floor. just keep it away from any electricals and the fan belts.
  20. out of pure lazyness. plus you never have to worry about seeing the CEL for that issue. ill check the jaycar kits for something like that. i need to get a few 12v to 12v regulated power supplies for some stuff im gonna throw in the car
  21. i think its also the limit wire for when the steering wheel is turned 'too far', the cold temp boost limit and when the g-force sensor probably thinks youre overdoing it
  22. i suggested a timer circuit, or something hooked up to the water temp. so it gets brake signal till the engine gets to 70degrees. before then you arent going to need to hammer it

  24. wont you need new front guards and have the holes in the rear quarters filled too? not to mention the side skirts wont fit as they have the wheel arch cutouts in them just paint the whole kit aaron
  25. then its probably the PCV. the ECU wont save the settings unless they are within certain limits.
