  1. make sure you can change it to 'volvo' for later in life
  2. major service at 40k?? remember that a 50k service in the US is approximately equivalent to an 80k service here. they are in miles. there is around 1.6km to a mile. their 100k major service is like 160k in australia...........
  3. yes thats what i was thinking. the fitting looks like an HC7 or HC9. but to replace the globe you push an H1 into a fitting that 'screws' into the back of the light assembly.
  4. yeah there is always air movement there also, with the AC on, youll get a little more air movement!
  5. DONT buy HIDs?? if i didnt want HID then the standard ones would be fine however, i WANT HID lol i think an H1 modified to fit in the hole will work. just gotta go to jaycar with the lamp assembly and try a few out.
  6. i was thinking about replacing mine with HID driving lights. it might be difficult to retro fit them to the factory aero lights.
  7. if youre not moving there is probably no point in having a fan on a transmission cooler. once youre moving and you need the cooler to work, well, youre moving!
  8. just be careful and you wont need glue. just dont reef it out like i did.
  9. lol how can you forget that?? ohh yeah, when you remove the white door, dont break the tab off the end of it. i did with mine. lucky i had a spare
  10. thats how i have mine setup right now. im sure there isnt MUCH heat transfer, ideally youd want the pipework inside the radiator fluid, but this is the best option i had till my new radiator goes in
  11. its easy aaron remove glovebox, unclip cover from the white box behind the glovebox. remove old filter, replace. be careful as you put the filter in, note the locating tabs on the back of the door, youll need to hold the filter up as you close it so you dont crush it.
  12. of course they would be too hot to touch, they shed heat into the engine coolant which ranges from 80-110 degrees lol just plumb one of the pipes next to a radiator pipe (even touching it) and youll get a bit of heat transfer
  13. 225k?? highest M35 mileage??
  14. we both knew we were getting the Nismo ECU awesomeness
  15. best advice ever chuckie! and idea on the physical size of that transmission cooler? it appears to have the right fittings etc to plumb it straight in
  16. do you have the nismo side stripes?? if you do, youll have to remove them unless you bring your car for a nismo ECU inspection you need to earn the stripes. also, congrats on the ride
  17. fair enough mate, the beige interior is ugly
  18. theres nothing wrong with having the bottom tank cut and have the trans cooler loop installed in one that doesnt have it from the factory. any radiator place should be able to do it
  19. yeah i know, i have a guy in sydney just like him. actually, i think they are completely different lol
  20. is someone from this forum trying to contact me about a part? dude, i have no idea what the fcuk youre on about
  21. have you actually installed ANYTHING on your car yourself?? lol at least i had a good excuse! haha
  22. install it yourself. its not that hard
  23. i dont have an internal transmission cooler, i use an external one. however it probably should have a thermostat. if you have the option to get one, get one with a thermostat and bypass
  24. what colour? im getting rid of some beige ones soon from my M35, i think they are the same
  25. lol thanks mate i think we are already on it! as a few NFPs have contacted us. i dont do any sales or anything one of the guys said we get referrals from you guys so thanks
