  1. By the time I was getting to the obstacles there was a bit of a wait. Worst was at Everest 50min wait.
  2. I honestly dont think it was that tough, they talked it up a lot. I rolled my ankle at about the 8km mark I think (at the top of the greased lighting bit) and still managed to finish. Looks like I have broken a bone in my foot so going to get xrays done tomorrow The electric shock was no worse than someone flicking you. Still was a lot of fun and will be doing it again, hopefully the Sydney one in September
  3. Or get a motor trimmer to put a heal mat over it
  4. I watched the video yesterday, looks like a lot of fun I pick up a chest harness for my gopro the other day so will hopefully get some good video. ctjet what time are you starting?
  5. Dose anyone know exactly how long it is. Its says 20km on there site but ive herd on the radio and a few other people saying its only 16km. I cracked my ribs again on Monday but thinking ill still try give it a go, but I did struggle with a 5km run today. Was the passenger seat the same? Maybe the cushions have been padded up, try sit in another car as well
  7. I just got back from Locsed in Ringwood. I showed him pics of the fast fit bar and he's pretty sure he can improve on it and get to at least 2000kg rated one. Will have the removable square tongue as well for about $900. He's busy till Easter so will be done just after then.
  8. I spoke to Dez Obrian the other day about this. I think his company is called something like locset in Ringwood 98793545 I have to take the car to him in the next day or two for him to have a look at so will let you know how it goes

    M35 Cargo Mat

Anyone got some pics of the mat?
  11. Yeah just from training. I cracked my ribs twice last year as well as a few other little things I only herd about TM about a month ago. The fighters class where going to do it but there is a show on the 1st April so most of them will be in that. So ive ended up joining in with a couple of girls that train in the intermediate/beginners class and their friends. Not really expecting it to push my limit (with the group im with) but still looking forward to it.
  12. I used to do weights 5 mornings a week and 3 nights kickboxing. I stopped doing weights and started doing MMA as well as kickboxing When I started coping with that I started weights again 2 nights a week. The last year due to injures Im only managing to do kickboxing but trying to get back to MMA and weights. Next goal for me atm is Tuff Mudder, after that the fighting will get a bit more serious
  13. I know there is some material out there that is pretty close, but not 100% perfect. Ill see if I can get some samples. The biggest problem is the cloth fades pretty bad in these so the outside of the back rest is a different colour to the inside so if you get it remade make sure you give a bit thats not faded. Ive also used the ESP fabric and can say its 100% perfect. Also on the wear point. If you notice the foam has gone soft on the side bolster where you get in, You would be better off getting this repaired before the cloth starts to rip.
  14. They also have prizes for best costume, least dressed ect witch might be a bit interesting On a bad note my achilles heals have started giving me a lot of trouble. so needless to say my training is going to suffer a lot before doing this
  15. Ive only added more running to mine. I do MMA and kickboxing as well as strength and conditioning there so hoping I will be good. Im also considering doing the tuff bloke challenge at the start of March. Its the same sort of thing but a timed race over 5 or 6km.
  16. Im doing it on the Saturday as well
  17. I find that very unlikely You can be breath tested on you property. You can even be tested upto 2 hours (pretty sure its 2) after a accident. So if your involved in a crash and go home and drink you could be in a bit of trouble
  18. Was this the one trough Lysterfeild lake? They had broken into my coach's house twice before "In Narre Warren North, residents jumped for their lives during a dramatic police chase through a park. Zaffar Habib said police reached up to 100km/h in Lysterfield Lake Park as they pursued alleged burglars impersonating police about noon. "As I walked out my gate, they drove straight by me and I literally had to throw myself at my fence to get out of their way," Mr Habib said. "Two cyclists nearly got run over and it was only luck because I told them and they looked up and saw these cars coming at them at full pelt." Two men, aged 19 and 20, from Carrum Downs, were arrested later in Dandenong South. Ambulance Victoria spokesman Ray Rowe said one man suffered severe leg injuries and was taken to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition."
