  1. In my r32 I was running copper plugs bkr6e then went bcpr6es and had flat spots all thru the rev range I doing think changing your ecu will do anything get it to tuner check timing and afr thats the easyiest and less cost effective way to sort the issue out don't take this negatively but I'm speaking from experience

I'm so glad you posted this topic cause my car has started with a similar issue I have suspected my cas to befaulty since I've had the car I've always had a pop on idle Which has goten worse over the past 3months to the point where it today started to hardly idle it idles round .500rpm and pop and misses and border line stalls and the miss seems to come go also which I could not understand and if I drive hard while it's running funny it pings it head off literally i have i have been dumfounded for the last couple of months with this issues i have changed injectors three times have cleaned the aac and afm which didn't really help at all changed the fuel pump removed aftermarket fuel regs changed fuel lines with no change i finally borrowed a cas off my mate and it didnt pop at all but when I drove hard a had flat spots all thru the revs which I think maybe cause the ecu mayneed to be remapped cause it's ran poorly for so long can any one confirm this?
  3. yeah mad 082 i have done that to get me on the road but i found a thread on here that has descibed the prblem too a . Its my heater core has coroded a hole in it so its just leaking coolant im just gunna pull he whole heater assembelly out and just run it without the box till i can afford to fix it.. pulling all the dash out is mission ay i dont wanna have to do it later down the track but my car is a daily so i have to just make do with out the heater for a little bit lol thanks again
  4. yeah i tried cleaning it in the first place cause its never worked and and when it out it fell apart and the guts was already broken and it was just sitting in there like it was still ok it was preety dodgey ay....lol im after the master switch on the drivers side and the sad thing is the windows were locked before it broke so i cant wind any down at the moment its so hot in that car
  5. not sure it seems to be coming from the same area as it goes in from the engine bay but i cant see where from and im at stalemate with trying to get the heater assembly out does any have a body manual they could link me with an exploded view of the dash and heater assembly?
  6. i took my car for a drive last night and noticed a strong coolant smell coming from the car and noticed a wet patch on the carpet so i pulled over found a torch and noticed it leaking down the firewall. I then drove home then this morning i pulled the dash pad out and stereo etc to try and see where its coming from and cannot find it and its seems to come outr more when turning right so it might be pooling somewhere any one had this issue before that could shed some light please

  9. hey guys been having another issue with the 32 alternator has some issuse if you could help that would be awsome i first noticed it monday last week when i left a servo i started the car anbd noticed my dash istruments and stereo not working when the car started then just thought a fuse was gone straight away and thought nothing off it but when i started driving everything just started working at about 50 kmh which i then thought was alternator so i pulled over and pulled and pulled the earth cable and the car died so that confirmed what i thought so i bought one from nizzpro and the same thing the car seems to run a bit better but if the earth gets disconnected it dies which is just unlucky or its something to do with charge wire so i tried disconneting the charge wire but still same thing am i just unlucky and have 2 alternators with brushes worn out or could there be something else? also how do you get the brushes out i split the original alternator that was on the car and found them but cant get them out
  10. my mate bought one of these recently was supposed to have a 12psi spring and turned out to be 22psi they changed the spring and then it kept sticking open wouldn bother ay

  12. mate i had the same problem i gave my aac valve a clean which was ok changed the plugs which helped but it turned out to be my cas pulled loose and mistimed the engine very random i no but it happend lol let us no how you go

  14. ok im getting close to driving the car down to the dump becaus same issues stil.. in the last two weeks i have resealed the injectors which did not help. but i did not use genuine seals which im not keen putting genuine one in on week end but have also put a walbro pump in to have the same issues now i think it maybe something to do with the tank itself or one of the feed or return lines because i bought a genuine fuel tank inspection flange seal and i still had fuel leaking out of there not as much as last time but still enought to be fumy as in the cabin.. so i bought some aviation form a seal i have used it before to seal tanks with no issuse but on when i put it on this one all around the fange and just around the ends of the feed and return at the tank my pingin has got a whole lot whorse so it may have something to do with it but what ?? Cracked feed or return maybe sucked some form a seal has been sucked up any brainstorming will help thanks
  15. my ecu is shooting codes in an odd way it is shooting the same codes if i am even reading them right the first code thats throne is 23 which is 2 long flashes followed by 3 fast flashes which i read as 23 which is idle switch yeah?. which is idle switch correct? the next lot of flashes confuses me cause i get 4 fast flashes followed by another 5 flashes which i read as 45 and is injector leak but is supposed to be flashing so fast on the second read out?

  19. took out injectors today and there shagged all of the hard plastic casings round the squirters are broken off or cracked they eould be leaking like a siv lol gettin new one tonight will be in tommoro hopefully all systems go
  20. finally got time to run diagnostics and got some codes 23 and 45 idle switch and leaking injector think i have found my problem

  22. i have been busy cleaned the afm and intake pipe changed the plugs checked the pump Which i think may be on its way out which is one thing that could be the issue leaning out becuse the pump cant supply fuel?? it is starting to sound slugish when its primeing also there is a bit crap in the filter of the pump so wont be suprised if its f*ked checked the knock sensors..this was intersting one of the knock sensor loom plugs the one beside cylinder 4 an 5 is broken the plug clips in but is dodgy as and the actuall sender was only fingertight will this cause it to ping ive read that in improperlly torqued knock sensor can cause pinging
