Could this cause issues with fuel pressure ? Mine doesnt do it either and I know it use to :-( And some times it's like fuel pressure does what ever it wants

Sounds like similar symptoms I had when my cas failed try changing it mate and check timing

I did exactly the same thing with my greedy water temp gauge ... I re soldered it and was ok for about 3days and then broke again I'd just get another one ay

Maybe bursons or eBay maybe the cheapest route Possibly autobahn or repco ? But maybe a lil expensive from these places Or u could try Nissan themselves but still won't be cheap I

Coil packs possibly or fuel pump possibly not operating at full potential ? No expert but can't see how traction control would do anything unless it is and electrical issue and tcs is connected to the same system as whats at fault ? Try to run the ecu for errors or hook up a consult cable and check the sensors etc

I know it's been a while but an update on this is called for Things I have done Changed fuel filter Plugs (bkr6e) old plugs seemed good no excess carbon or anything and wernt extremely dry like it's leaning out really bad Hooked a consult up check the sensors and ran for errors with everything ok And put a turbo smart fuelpressure gauge on the car Now this is where it gets Suss The fuel pressure was a lil low so pulled hose of and tried to adjust to 43.5 psi it should be but it won't go higher than 40psi? And with the hose connected again it sit around 30 psi at idle which I think is a lil high cause it's suppose to sit around 20psi with the hose on and 43 psi with the hose of so I know it's a fuel issue but just dunno if it's the reg or pump also have been checking the pressure regularly now and a couple of times I have it's just been sitting on 20 psi on idle And just over 30 psi with the hose off or starts spiking past 35 then back to 30 psi and won't hold stable but then just randomly comes good and buy this time I'm like WTF lol .... Honestly am leaning towards the reg being faulty maybe a faulty diaphram ? Also since I upped the pressure I seem to get more back fires/pops in between gear changes (not full throttle just driving normally and mainly at night when it's cooler) as soon as I get hold of another standard one I will change it to see if that helps but that's where I am at I know Its an epic thread but if my experience can save someone else from scratching there head and forking out unneeded money than I'm happy Cheers

hey there hooked my consult up today and confirmed my speco water temp gauges arnt that accurate my water temp reads 8deg hotter than it should ( reads 90 on the gauge but 82 on the consult ) So gunna replace my water temp and oil pressure gauges With autometer ultra light ones a mate has but he lost the oil sender so just wondering where to go order them ? Did a google but mostly in the states so would prefer to buy local and support the economy lol Cheers

as above got my consult cable sorted today very happy with the product although it has shown an issue with my o2 sensor .... It's showing 0 volts at the o2 while idling and driving ? Sometimes while driving it comes on but the reading is not stable it just surges back and forth ... Any ideas why I'm not getting constant power? My fuel economy seems ok still bout 500 to a tank while granny shifting Only thing I have noticed is I have a got a slight ping in third but don't think it's the o2 sensor because it shouldn lean it that much correct so apart from that all seems normal apart from the 0 volts it shows on the consult? Any help welcome

Check ks on instrument cluster then look at the condition off the interior if it says 100k but the interior is ripped and faded and looks like it done 300k well I would assume something Suss is happening check under car for dints in the floor and chassis etc inspect the paint thourghly makes sure it's all matching colors to make sure it hasn't been resprayed in certain spots to hide a crash .... If u wanna be real anal take a fridge magnet or something and try sticking it to the doors and rear quarter panels and roof etc if it doesn't stick well then it's probably full of bog don't bother checking the bonnet or front guards or boot because I'm preety sure there all alloy and not magnetic anyways well I'm 100% that the bonnet is anyways also do a revs check and make sure there us no money owing or it has not been reported stolen or in accidents Hope that helps BOOZTJUNKEY
