  1. Man I cant work out this offset business!!!!!
  2. Would a 18 x 9.5 +35 fit?
  3. LMAO at those last wheels. I feel compelled to say something about fixing flat tyres with Viagra.
  4. Hahaha....They had a nice big shiny set of massive heart shaped one I should have tried on. LOL
  5. No. No test fit. I went to a couple wheel places today. Nothing that I even remotely liked. Why do wheel places just sell bling crap????
  6. Yeah was thinking red adonised ones to add a fleck of colour. Cheers.
  7. I have settled on the Varrstoen 111's in 18 x 9.5 +12. Now for what is a really stupid question....Will I need different wheel nuts or will the stock ones fit?
  8. yeah thats what I thought regarding the width. I am heading out tomorrow to Fyshwick to look at some wheels tomorrow.
  9. Just wondering if these would fit and if so thoughts on what they would look like given they are only 18 x 8's? Specifications: - Design: BBS LM Styling Color: Hyper Silver Wheel Size: 18-inches Wheel Width: 8-inches Stud Pattern: 5x112 PCD Offset / ET: 35 Center Bore: 73.1
  10. All spotted this morning: White R33 heading up the Parkway through Kambah. White R34 heading down Sulwood. Black R34 heading into Woden on Melrose.
  11. Yeah not a huge fan of the big wheel look in terms of wheel diametre. I prefer 18's and the car slightly lowered. I was also considering something like these: http://www.carid.com/xxr-wheels/530-chromium-black-451720.html
  12. Yes, I just asked the guy what offset they were as he only has one set left and they are +12's. Awesome, thanks guys.
  13. I have been looking around at wheels as I am going to be replacing my stockies. I was looking at these: http://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/512477-varrstoen-es-1-1-2-deep-polished-lip-19-a.html But the 1.1.1 in 18 x 9.5. They have a couple of offsets available, and I don't really understand tyre offsets. I want to fill the guards nicely on my R33 GTR. The fitments listed are: 18x9.5 +12 5x114.3 18x9.5 +22 5x114.3 18x9.5 +30 5x114.3 Thoughts?
  14. As the title says, I have a couple options and can't seem to decide which is the better option. My car is a stock R33 GTR except for boost restrictor removed and the CAS has been spun. I have a limited budget of $4000 and will be buying all the parts second hand (mostly from SAU member here). The option I have in mind are: Option 1 Coilovers (I have 3 leaking struts that were found in my last service) Front pipe Power FC Adjustable cam gears This will leave me around $1900 out of my budget for install. Option 2 GT 2860's including gasket kit Dump pipes Power FC This will leave me about $1580 out of my budget for install. Firstly, Does anyone know whether my left over budget would even cover the install of either option? If not then I need to rethink what I am going to do. Secondly, which option do you think is better. Option 1 fixes my suspension and gives me some performance gains. Option 2 sures up my turbo's (going from ceramic to steel wheeled), and I guess in doing so protects my engine longer term. I never thought it would be so hard to decide what to spend my money on!! LOL Cheers.
  15. I am going to try and get along to this. As a spectator unfortunately.
  16. Thanks again. It will probably take me a couple of weeks to get all the items together.
  17. Thanks for the info. I probably do not have the tools required to do them or a location to do it in. I would probably give the exhaust components a shot, but I would be hesitant to to the coilovers etc. Plus, I suck at mechanical stuff!!!
  18. So I think this is what I have decided on: Front pipe Cat back Apexi Power FC Adjustable cam gears Coilovers This will leave me about $1400 left over. Anyone have any idea whether this will pay for the install of these items?
  19. So without upgrading the turbo's and doing the exhaust system and ecu what sort of extra performance would I be looking at? Its currently making 222awkw and its stock except boost restrictor removed and boost set at 10psi and CASA has been spun. I guess my main reason for wanting to do the turbo's is because of the ceramic standard turbo's and concern if one blows etc. Not sure if I can bump the boost up more than it currently is? Also can anyone recommend a good complete exhaust system and where to buy them here in Canberra?
  20. Hmmm...I have about 4-5k all up at this point. Looking at a good condition second hand pair of HKS coilovers from a member on here. How much is it to swap the turbo's?
  21. Oh and are there any other things I may need? Upgraded injectors?
  22. I had originally planned to purchase a few more items this month, but unfortunately the realities of life stepped in and, well....BILLS!! But I have a little bit of budget left over and looking at buying the following, so am currently looking around: 1. either GT2530's or N1's 2. Coilovers 3. Power FC or F-con Pro 4. Adjustable cam gears I was looking at an exhaust system but out of budget for now. Oh and wheels of course as they are stockies. Looking at a set of BBS LM's. My car is stock (R33 GT-R). Coilovers are a must as 3 struts are leaking as found in the last service. I have been looking on ebay etc. but if anyone has anything that fits my shopping list and they are looking to sell shoot me a message. Does anyone have any idea how much this all may cost to get installed once I buy it? Cheers.
  23. Want my first born child?
  24. Spotted a white series 1 R33 this morning at about 8am heading up the Parkway.
