  1. Thanks Tom. Good luck finding your mate. Cheers.
  2. Thanks fib. Next up is a set of wheels. Either Rays TE37's in bronze or Work Meisters in a gunmetal colour. One the bank account recovers that is!!
  3. Hi all, I finally managed to get my dream. Bought it off the first owner in Oz, he had it for 2 years. It has 101,000 KM's on it, has had its 100,000km service, timing belt done etc. Unmodified except pod's and turbo timer. Wheels are next on the agenda!! After the bank account recovers though. LOL Took these pic's with my mobile, will take some better ones with a camera and post them.
  4. Got my policy for the R33 GT-R I am getting on Monday. Shannon's Rating 1 39 years old, not accident or claim history. No DQ's etc. Agreed value of $17,500 (what I have picked up the car for...Bargain I know!). Pay by the month $75.00 Excess of $500 Called numerous places and this was by far the best.
  5. Hi all, I am possibly buying a 1996 R33 GT-R next week. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the rego costs are here in WA (new to Perth). Can you rego it for 6 months as an option? Thanks in advance.
  6. Some more pic's.
  7. Sorry it is listed as VIN or Chassis Number. Is the Chassis number the same as a VIN?
  8. That's what I thought, very strange?? That is the number they have listed as the VIN on the Sale Notice. Any ideas???
  9. I am looking at buying an R33 GTR. Can someone check it out for me? VIN/Chassis No. 6T91MPR11SYJPL014 Engine # RB26049411 Thanks.
  10. Sorry but as a 39 year old if I went to a car yard and was seriously interested in a car and they would not let me drive it unless leaving a deposit I would walk to the next car yard. Just my 2 cents.
  11. Price Drop to $20,000 Sorry didn't get a chance to take more pic's but will over the weekend.
  12. I love Global Auto's GT-R's. Some of the best looking GT-R's I have seen, from 32's up to 34's.
  13. I found the post relating to the R32 GTR I was looking at. I will be giving that one a miss I think. Any thoughts on the R33 GTR?
  14. Thanks for the info, I'll have a look around the forums and see if I can find that discussion. Regarding buying without seeing, if it is a fresh import for example shouldn't the dealer let you view the auction sheet? This would equate to the same as importing a car from Japan via an importer would it not as you are not personally viewing these cars either. Also most dealers I have seen offer a parts/labour warrantee which should cover you as well?
  15. Hi, I am currently looking for GT-R's to buy, either an R32 or R33. My preference is for an R33 if one comes along within my budget. If you had to choose from the below two cars, a 32 and the other 33 which would you reccommend? The 33 has much higher Km's on it whereas the 32 has about half the Km's. http://www.carsguide.com.au/site/search/ve...p;vehicleType=1 http://www.carsguide.com.au/site/search/ve...p;vehicleType=1 Also, as I live in WA and there doesn't seem to be too many for sale over here I will most likely be buying one from interstate and will not have a chance to test drive or see it in person. What type of questions should I be asking: Service history, accident history, mod's (the R32 above for example says stock, but I dont think they come stock with pod's?), if recent import to see the auction sheet, lots of pic's inside and out. Anything else you would reccommend? Cheers. Eric
  16. Hi Katurbo, Thanks mate but I am looking to get into a GT-R. To do that I will need to sell it or I have a couple trade in options with dealers in Sydney. Obviously privatre sale normally gets higher dollars than a trade in, so this is my preferred option. Cheers though.
  17. I am considering selling my Foz and upgrading to something else, probably an R33 GT-R (hopefully!). Mod's are listed below the basic description. I will take some new pic's tomorrow both inside and out and post them up in the afternoon. Car is very well looked after, I am the second owner. Car is like new inside. There is a small scatch on the petrol cap that was there when I bought it. Still has very low KM's compared with others of the same year and make. 18. Ahhhahahaha!!! That is hilarious. LMAO!
  19. Thanks mate, will check out Shannon's.
  20. Thanks again everyone. Yeah I guess the back is another concern. Niether of us have back problems though. I remember when my son was first born I owned a Verada and we hired one of those plastic baby capsules. It was so hard even in the Verada to get it in and out that I tore it out after about 6 weeks!!
  21. Just wondering who everyone uses for their GTR insurance? I have looked online and I can only find one (Just Car Insurance) that seems to provide insuarnce for them. Just wondering who uses who and what sort of rates you are getting. Cheers, Eric
  22. Oh yeah, how about a pram in the boot or am I pushing it now??
  23. My wife is only about 5' 6", so doesnt need a lot of leg room. I have to say that even in the back of my Foz a baby seat is a tight fit.
  24. Thanks guys. Yeah I have a 2.5 year old and another due in April, so need to consider this. Anyone know for certain if a capsule would fit for a new born?
