  1. lol and whats wrong with that?
  2. cool sounds like an idea a31rb25. yeah possible idea someonestolecc. means most the ceffy stuff in australia is in the one place. having a sub forum like the stagea do with thier classifieds section thou for tutorials and articles would be sweet. Cef31, the old SAU web address stickers look like this but with white print Thou obviously we could design our own better ones...thou i lack the skills to do that..
  3. well after reading what funkymonkey said in a previous post..... i'm jumping the gun here as he hasn't redirected the domain yet but just seeing who would possibly be interested in some www.cefirosaustralia.com stickers (same format as the standard SAU ones)?
  4. oh yeah another thing i just remembered, ur brake light on the dash also comes on when ur brake fluid is low. So make sure ur fluid level is up.
  5. pull up/off the cover to the handbrake (if centre mounted handbrake) and u will see a wire going to a spring loaded pin. just adjust it so the gap is a bit bigger when the lever is down. Probally is very close and when corning, either cable is having more pressure on it or car twisting (most unlikely the case) just the slightly enough to cause the contact to trigger off the light. Well similar thing happened to mine, but i hated the light so just disconected the wire plug from the hand brake leaver, so when doing handies the light doesn't flash in my face.
  6. fark me! doors flared too. thats some crazy stuff , i like it alot!
  7. so how did u go Ceffy_SA? mines also the white perl, interested to see how easy it is to be reproduced for touch ups etc.
  8. dunno exactly what to check in ur case. though i do remember in my previous r32, it had a air temp sensor in the centre console, after doing a stereo instal i must of knocked it and it had fallen off its mount and was gathering the temp coming of the gearbox boot cover which confused its main unit and in the end wouldn't let me use the heater either....after putting it back up in its spot gave me hot air again. from memory heater core is run via water valve that circulates ur coolant fluid to the core. kinda a pain that the A31 doesn't have the electronic face with digital display that the r32 uses as i believe it has a diagnostic mode that can show where problems are coming from.
  9. sounds good funkymonkey. Though changing name to section name to "Cefiro's Australia" might be disregarding other 4 doors don't u think, or will it be assumed that they post in the same section? sweet never knew cefirosaustralia.com was a registered domain, will have to get some stickers made up for that.
  10. u got a spare manual ecu? cos i got a auto ecu (well i think it is) i'm currently using on my manual setup and may consider a swap...
  11. well i've added a post in the idea's and feedback area. heres the link for anyone who wants to add more to what i said. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=121051
  12. Mod's there has been an increase unrelated threads been started in the "Cefiros and other RB powered sedans" section. Many of which should of been in general maintence or forced induction/ NA areas etc. Only way many of the regulars in the ceffy and 4 door section think we can stop this is either getting some more active mods in the section or possible changing the name of the section to "Cefiros and other 4 door related discussion" or "Cefiros and Jap Taxi talk" etc. seems too many are getting confused with the RB powered sedans part of the title (and when viewed on the forum index its towards the top of the page, hence probally the spontanous posting of alot of newbies in the section) example are (just ones that i quickly noted on the first page....): http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=121049 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=120676 (has some comments on the issue in it...regarding section name change) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=120185 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=120054 (Which was eventually moved and edited by a mod) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=119291 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=111613 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=115186 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=117973 (Thread discussing the problems we have been having) Can one of the web admins possibly help us in changing the title of the section, helping us with some more active mods or some other option? Cheers Ben
  13. dude i see that u own a 4 door.....but do you really think this question belongs in this section.... do you have any abnormal noises when coming onto boost? blowing any white smoke?, other thing u could do is remove the inlet piping just before the turbo and seeing if there is much shaft play. Also check for any boost leaks from loose cooler pipes.
  14. ^ true that Resin. or even "Cefiro's and other Jap Taxi related discussions"
  15. Wrong section buddy, unless ur reffering to the 4 door variants of the r33, but from what u have said i doubt it. Konect i'm really starting to agree with you that we need a active mod in this section..
  16. short answer, yes it will work with auto ecu, though some wires need to be spliced or somthing a rather. try searching. i can't remember if its just a myth or not, but some say the auto ecu changes the timing a bit differently to the manual one, so in long run maybe the manual ecu would be better suited or just simply get the auto ecu remaped by Dr drift or someone similar. EDIT: Deleted my flame, thread has since been moved to right area....
  17. I can't seem to delete my own images from my gallery.
  18. wrong area to be asking such a question. try forced induction or general maintence sections....
  19. although one reason i think a mod is still needed, or just this sub forum needs to be retitled is to stop people asking questions that are motor specific or just general questions that would be better answered in the tech or general areas. This is mainly for cefiro and other 4 door sedan 'specific' questions and discussions, not about general rb20/25/26/30 q's. Hopefully ppl understand what i'm getting at......?!?
  20. yeah but most the ppl in this section talk about cefiro, laurel and 4 door related things and issues, not the motors directly which are more commonly found in the skylines, hence ur better off checking the Forced Induction Performance or Naturally Aspirated Performance sections. We are not trying to have a go at u personally dude, just letting u know that even though it says "other RB powered sedans" its not really a place to be asking such a specified mechanical post if u get my gist. EDIT: was in reference to rb30man's post above. Didn't see dangerous_daveos post till after i posted.
  21. i still got my rb20de brake master cylinder and booster running r32gtst calipers. works fine, though doesnt feel as good as it did on my past r32 with the correct setup. i'm going to upgrade both the master cylinder and booster when i have the cash and time.
