yeah dunno a new mod is needed. i get ur point though ryan. its not like anyone post stupid stuff or abuses the forum rules in this section and if ppl do or just happen to post crap in wrong section we all seem to take care of it and let them know.
-
dude i'll probally be getting you to call me mid june to take up the quote u gave me a few months ago. ill PM you closer to the date. THumbs up for shannons!
-
hmm i think i need one of these bracing devices also. Mines only a 5 puck brassy and can feel it slightly flexing already - also was a auto to manual converted cef. anyway got a link to where ya can get them? EDIT: Paid closer attention to it today after this thread. I actually think its just my clutch pedal box thingo twisting slightly with a bit of creaking so prob not firewall afterall. Probally just have to grease it up a bit and have a closer look one day. Meh no biggie. I'm not really fussed.

yeah i'm buying a mountain bike in next few weeks to get my lazy ass doin some excersice to work and uni.

i'll be down again, we had 3 ceffy's turn up last time..... though not sure i'll be up for a large cruise with the price of petrol at the momment...agh paid 1.55 yesterday, 30 bucks only filling up 1/4 of tank...maybe wait a few months and prices will go down and should start seeing some warmer weather with spring.
-
Softy, i didn't think u had to remove the drum/disk... i got r32 brakes, but im sure was the same handbrake adjustments on my cef ones, and that the rubber grommet was on the drum/disk themselves...well thats what my brain can remember...hmm when ya adjusting it, just make sure you don't have it constantly engaging slightly or ur handbrake shoes will be gone in no time.
-
would love to have a cruise, photo meet up with those 12 or so ceffys in VIC... very unlikely that we will ever get even say 10 of them in the one spot on at the same time.

-
best bet would be to ask Department of transport and regional services, as they would have a record of every cefiro imported. otherwise if ur interested to see how many ceffy owners there are roughly on here, have a look at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ow+many+cefiros
-
i didn't use a translator, just guessed where the sign up buttons etc where. bit of trial and error... has same layout as most forums which make it easy.
-
more... some wacky top mount mod.. clear side indicator.. ca18 with horizontal cooler.... wicked roll cage... [attachmen =30993:attachment] Post up any other unusual ceffy pics you may have.
-
appears to be huddy's car in these pics if i'm not mistaken....when it used be be the pink colour....
-
found alot of these pics at http://cefiro-thailand.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=12 in the Meeting Gallery (กำลังดูอยู่ 3 คน) section. unfortuanatly i can't find a translation site for thai to english. also have a look at http://cefiro-thailand.com/board/showthread.php?t=16034 it has heaps of pics of the history of the ceffy including cefiro launch pics, original pics of when they came out, specs, etc Also found on that site was a section of photos of some jap cefiro meeting. Some examples below for ur enjoyment. Third pic is the original autech version.... Fourth pic, if only our meets had that many ceffy's at them.......bloody hell....thats alot in the background....

dam i like, very clean, not normally a fan of those wheels, but they look shmick with those flared guards. Wouldn't happen to know which part of melb its going to? I hope i get to see it drivin around, is the new owner on sau?
-

What Are These Things? Hhhmmmmmm
BenA31 replied to S13Deviat's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
1. Yes Coilpack 2. Yes Amp i'm guessing if it was connected to rear speakers. 3. No idea, though oh the location i'd be guessing either a air temp sensor or a part for the aircon. -
the exhaust and fuel lines will need to be swaped sides under the car for a start...if the Malaysians and Thai's etc have done it, i'm sure there are some sites with a write up on it. hmm what about 1uz V8, can make some nice power when turbocharged (also doable with stock internals) plus are a light motor and will have heaps of torque!!
-
^ how so...this is the area primarily for ceffy owners and other 4 door owners. Hence it would be best suited in here, its not affecting the rest of the forums is it?, maybe best spot would be in the 4 door bargain bin sticky.
-
^ Different to say the least, don't think i've seen many Q45's before...needs some VIP rims, lowered a tad more, and would be a wicked cruiser.
-
konect stop kidding urself. Your car looks the goods, just needs a FMIC to fill that front gap and some bigger rims, then its set. shaunr32, PM sent.
-
Dude you should of come to the last 4 door cruise, assuming ur in VIC with the blue trimmed plates. You wouldn't happen to be in the S.E area of melb would you? I'd be up for another 4 door cruise, just hope we can get a few more cars next time. I like how you have done the car, rb25 is a great choice with the extra torque, with some nice power. So you selling it yeah? think you might wanna put a price up and location. btw, i got a white gtr style grill on mine. If you have another style grill, you may be able to tempt me on a swap if i like what ya got.
-
wrong section dude, might wanna try the forced induction area....

My New Drifter, A Work In Progress ;)

^^ HAHAHAHA -
its not that hard just to take the pads out and get them looked at by ur parts place, as i said in the other thread. they have parts books with like all the brake pads in them with real size diagrams to match them up with. that way u will get the right pads the first time, none of this guessing crap, as no one seems to be 100% sure at this point on here, although replicates suggestion of CA18det brakes seems to be the best bet. If u really get stuck i'll go find my old brake pads in the shed and get ya the part numbers, as mine also used to be the non turbo variants.
