  1. Hey guys, After lurking around it seems like there isn't an off the shelf air suspension kit made for the C34s (unless this has changed). Just wondering if anyone knew any reputable shops that can make a custom kit (ideally using something like AccuAir or AirLift) and what the ballpark cost for this might be. I'm in NSW but willing to travel interstate to VIC, ACT, and QLD if need be. Not interested in going coilovers with the BC Racing air cups as I want to avoid coilovers to retain ride comfort and battle the shit roads of Sydney while still looking good during grocery runs. Thanks
  2. Hi guys, After a RB26 coilpack for an R32 GTR in excellent working condition, does not have to be new. Give me a call/text on 0414 184 574 and we can work something out. Thanks, Matt
  3. Very interested to see the GoPro Hero 3 vs the Contour Plus 2 for motorsport. Really divided over which of these to get... the GPS on the Contour is the what's keeping me from going GoPro. Anyone have an informed opinion on the subject?
  4. Can't wait. Let Jenna rest assured it's going into good hands (even if I can't use that twin plate clutch properly yet haha)
  5. 5k Pete and we'll call it a day Anyways talk to ya tomorrow.
  6. Hold onto your 60 bucks for carsales until Sunday
  7. Hey GH0ST, just letting you know I'll probably be doing an inspection this weekend. Tried to do it yesterday but Fatz was busy.
  8. Avoid Edward Lee's car yards, so I've heard anyway. Winds backs clocks?
  9. Any word on how much this whole project's gonna cost?
  10. I see. What would a guesstimate be on the cost of such an operation? Also I'm assuming getting a GT-FOUR isn't going to help because it's still not a GTR drivetrain so the GT-FOUR drivetrain will be replaced regardless?
  11. Scathing, you mention that AWD turbo out of the factory would be more reliable. From what I've heard RWD is generally more reliable than AWD, or rather less expensive to fix. Is the Skyline an exception?
  12. Ah yes, I understand. I don't plan to sink alot of money into an R34 N/A, just the very basic like air intake and exhaust system, if that. The plan is to keep the 4 door until I'm 25 as N/A then doing a complete GTR rebuild, so I can have an R34 GTR 4 door. Provided I have the money and the stupidity to do it when I get to that age.
  13. What do you mean by overcapitilisation? Also I can't swap to a GTR cause it's a coupe. When I hit 25 I want to make the 4 door a GTR in all but chassis
  14. Indecision is a bitch. I like the idea of getting an NA and keeping til 25 then ripping out everything and frankensteining it into a GTR.
  15. Well, let's say the cars I've driven regularly are the Magna 3.5l, the Subaru Outback 2.5l and a Honda Accord 2.0l Surely, the NA R34 would be tighter than these and well you know, better.
  16. Alright. The tribe has spoken, and their words ring with truth. I'm gonna get something else for now and then get that R34 GTT 4 door /cream. Thanks guys. lol, I'm looking at a Cressida, don't wanna spend much.

  18. The tiptronic really that bad huh? And yeah my grandparents can get into Skylines, they get into my cousins 4door r33 gts-t all the time lol. Back to transmission, I'll be doing mostly city driving (Sydney suburban) so manual would be a pain in the arse. Is auto and tiptronic really that bad?
  19. I'm in the same situation as you. Can't find a 4 door non-turbo in NSW at a reasonable price. I'm beginning to think, screw the R34, get some shitbox for the duration of P's then get the turbo.
  20. Alright, here's the situation, I'm a green P plater with roughly a year and a half left of provisional license. Skylines, and the Silvia S15 have kinda been an obsession for years. What can I say, I love them. I'm not in it cause I want to put some airbrushed graphic of a naked chick with snakes on the bonnet, or put a basketball cannon muffler on it and massive subwoofers in it, I love them because they're tight as a virgin around the twisties and have the raw power to match. Godzilla. So naturally, I'd be looking at getting an N/A Skyline for my P's. Problem is though, there aren't any that match my criteria. R34 GT-T Non-turbo Four door sedan Reasonable price Anywhere in the state of NSW If you're wondering, the four-door is so my grandparents can get in. Also I have paranoid visions of a flaming wreck, and mates stuck in the back. What should I do? Should I just wait the year and a half out and get a turbo? Should I buy a shitbox for the time being? Should I keep looking, or just settle for the coupe? Lol, should I fly to VIC or QLD and get one there? What do you think? Frustrated, Ding
  21. Okay, I've been looking for a few solid months and I can't find jack in NSW. What I'm looking for: A clean, near to stock, 4-door R34 GT-T that's P-plate friendly for the duration of my P-plate license (a year and a half). What I can't find in this state for a reasonable price: A clean, near to stock, 4-door R34 GT-T that's P-plate friendly for the duration of my P-plate license (a year and a half). - So. My question to you Skyline fanatics is, what should I get until I can buy turbo? Should I even do this? Something that will hold it's value, something cheap and nasty even, fire me some suggestions! Maybe an old pre-90's Skyline lol, what's the maintenance costs like on those bad boys? What do you guys reckon? Many thanks, Ding
  22. Don't just think about raw power, this is a Skyline we're talking about. Do you think a Prelude has half a chance against a Skyline in the twisties? N/A or not?
  23. Ooft, yeah do what has been advised and, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH COOLANT IN THERE!
