  3. It was an optional safety pack, some came fitted with up to 6 airbags iirc
  4. Geeze, your car is going to be essentially a greddy showroom
  5. My dose of originality will be in the tuner - I'll be getting Willall to work on it
  6. You get a rep for that one Im waiting for a blue one to pop up on YAJ
  7. What youve said confused the shit out of me mate Heres how I understand it.. how far off base am I? Kelvin is a measure of heat - think of it as degrees celcius if it helps. Now, when you heat up a piece of metal, it first goes red hot - if you can keep heating it then it starts going yellow, heat it even more then white hot. Candles is a measure of how BRIGHT something appears, in a darkened room, you light 1 candle - and you'll illuminate the room to a certain extent. Light a 2nd candle, and the amount of illumination increases. So, the rating of 8000kelvin for a set of headlights is the equivilent to how HOT it is getting which determines the colour (5000, yellow hot, 8000 white hot) A rating of 1000 Candles for a light is a comparison to how many candles would need to be light the same amount of area. SO, you can have 5000kelvin 1000 Candle and youd have a yellow light.. or you can have 8000kelvin 1000 candle and itd be quite a white light. Both would illuminate the same amount.
  8. I generally get about 400km out of mine also, but on my way to the snow I did 659km from 70.8L of fuel, ie 10.7L/100km.. I think we've got an 80L tank, so theoretically could've squeezed more out but the light was well and truely on at that point. What fuel consumption does your Informeter give you?
  9. Black C34 with a nice big Masa wing pulling out on to Grenfell street/river this evening around 6:15pm
  10. Silver C34 on the Parade this afternoon, gold mesh wheels and nice big FMIC. Not one I've seen around before. Nice looking car
  11. Speaking of PMs, is there any chance the email notification for a new PM can be configured to contain the body of the message itself? Its an extremely minor gripe I have
  12. Never did work out why the remote was playing up - seemed to correct itself the next day without any interference from me; I have an alarm/immobiliser with its own lock/unlock fob which I use now, and thats been flawless
  13. Not true. Christian is still running the scripts that migrate the data to the new database format; Im guessing it was a huge shift in the way the data is being stored and its taking an extremely long time to do, but its being done. PMs will come back, you wont have lost any
  14. Theres a couple, one in the drivers footwell, the descriptions are in japanese (But have been translated http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=309837&view=findpost&p=5108325 ) - one of them refers to the a 'trunk lid opener', unsure if thats the right one. Theres another one behind the battery, pop the big plastic cover off and you can see it, the descriptions are in english on it (If memory serves). Someone else was having issues with it the other day, maybe see if you can search for that post
  15. Just noticed the font size drop down a few points at the bottom of post #2 in this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/346022-tokyo-auto-stores/ - probably something in the dudes sig, unsure if its specifically related to the upgrade or not.
  16. I think he was referring to the Redirected hits, ie
  17. It probably goes without saying, but good job on the upgrade, Im sure youve already noticed but existing posts that contained quotes seem to be a bit munted.
  18. Awesome work Craig, phenominal turn around time from when you finally got the motor to having the car on the road. fingers crossed for some good results! We may have some eManage + Impul results in the not too distant future too
  19. Im tempted to do this, Ive got the standard seats, but I need the wheel and pedals.. and the skills to make up a racing frame
  20. You're pointing downhill there Chuckie
  21. Not sure about the issues with starting it on the slope, but our fuel gauge can definitely respond poorly. I parked on the road outside my house last night for a few hours, trades people were on the drive way when I got home, when I went to move the car later that night the gauge had mysteriously dropped 25%.
  22. Good stuff! Whatd you end up doing with your suspension/ride height (that was your car, right?)
  23. A comment on how good the quality is would be good, as would a sample page or two - but pirating the manual is a dick move.
  24. Picked up a 250t, threw some snow tires on it and took it for a bash. Fun times
