  1. tune sorted, see you in the staging lanes
  2. providing i can get the car back on the dyno and sort the tune out we will be out there racing should be a good day
  3. Beat me to it Duncan..... shame on you Adam!!!
  4. Put an RB26 in it
  5. Tim is no longer there... he moved to SSS Automotive a couple of months back Lincorp and Nissan parts have never been the same since. Though Ajay is getting up to speed now
  6. normally price.... i dont mind spending money to race the car but when you have a few events happening in close succession that you want to attend the $200ish that you need to pay turns out quite expensive. eg the UAS track day this Sunday and then the Autotech drag day (i know they arent SAU events but its just an example) the $400 i would need to spend in a little over a month is a bit of a stretch when you need to take into account fuel and tyres etc
  7. and make sure you only speak to Ajay when calling them.... most of the other guys at Lincorp are useless when it comes to import Nissan parts
  8. S14a 200SX - 11.274 @121.79 at WSID
  9. I totally agree with you Tosh, thank god i get in for nothing is all i can say... the Hummer was a huge let down.... the way they advertised it i expected to see XZIBIT's Hummer, only to find a stocker on 28's that wasnt even decked.... Sure its a H2, but i expected a bot more.... The Mines R34 is yet another fake.... it was built in Sydney using lots of Mines parts and stickers..... not as exciting as it being the real deal.... woman, well lets just say "woman" are non existant and as has been mentioned previously, you would want some ID if they are old enough to have any!!!!! LUSHES, finally a car worthy of God!!!! built pretty much in the backyard from what i hear, and not a car thats over the top in any area... its the sort of car you could drive every day of the week if you werent scared of paint chips, which is a massive change to what normally wins... Other than that you hear the normal stories as to why certain things didnt happen. My car wasnt tuned, it only got wired last night, my big turbo didnt arrive in time so i couldnt prove it actually drives.... blah blah blah On a more positive note, the Auto Salon 350Z was pretty damn hot, as is Nokko's NSX. The SLK parked opposite the 350 is pure porn!!!! Damn there isnt much positive is there lol
  10. I to would like to know what the go is with numbers and if i can enter on the day.... i dont have a credit card so cant fax the entry form.... On average how much time do you get to spend on the track???
  11. I have actually decided to try my hand at turning corners.... and not just the corner at the end of the drag strip UAS is holding a circuit day at Oran Park on the 2nd of April so, providing the 200 is tuned, i will be heading out to try my hand at circuit racing.... We should be able to come across some cash for this day but obviously am not going to over commit myself just yet... Will let you know the minute i know more
  12. I am still keen Dean however have committed to other track days prior to this one which have chewed up my spare cash.... i will be sure to keep in touch and should there become spots availiable in the not to distant future will be sure to tranfer funds as soon as possible....
  13. will confirm with my girlfriend tomorrow but i will more than likely be in on this one as the car will be tuned and ready to go by May Will more than liley make payment tomorrow night
  14. this would be why your wifes car was removed from the board.... the class was stock turbo, a high flow is not stock
  15. did anyone see this go on the dyno??? what did it make??? and sorry elbee, i may not have been there for the entire day but i was there for a hell of a lot longer than 30 minutes....
  16. if anyone is after an accurate power figure they are best to go to WSID and go by MPH or put their engine on an engine dyno... a chassis dyno is really only a tuning tool which has way to many variables that can affect the readout.... just losely strapping a car has yealded an extra 30rwkw, changing wheels has made near the same so i wouldnt be to stressed by differing read outs A great day none the less and was great to catch up with quite a few people. Cant wait for the next event
  17. but he used a Gates timing belt and no note of replacing the idler bolt!!! $10k is easily spent building an RB26!! People building them cheaper are either doing most of the work themselves or arent replacing much other than the bare essentials.... Anyone building an RB26 would be silly to not replace the oil pump with an N1 item as minumum, increasing the engines oil capacity and some sort of baffling and using an N1 water pump.... anything less than this and your not doing your fresh engine any justice!!
  18. They are nice wheels!!! Wouldnt mind a set of my own lol any more S14 pics?? we need to find ourselves a new kit that doesnt look like a Vertex
  19. sad to see her go mate when we did the pre purchase inspection for you we were quite shocked at the condition your car was in!!! We see plenty of 32's through our doors and this has to be one of the best kept ones we have seen.
  20. Bastard!!!! we want more pics!!!!
  21. congrats to all the winners yesterday :) Has anyone got any times to report???
  22. Hey Nick, The shroud won't fit with the Greddy rad.
  23. probably a bit of topic so i must appologise but the above quote is a little un true.... i can assure people here that Trusts "H" beam rods are Carrillos and they also have carrillo SPS bolts.... just so happens i had a set of Trust rods arrive at the shop the other day.
  24. Congrats We were there late Saturday to have a bit of a look, must have been one of the few times you guys were not with the car I'm sure we'll see you at WSID soon.
