  1. Well your not after a power goal or 1/4mile time etc from what i can tell with your first post. If you want something that kicks alot harder than the standard turbo, pulls all the way to redline, and spools about the same as the standard turbo.. Then either go for; Highflow HKS 2530/40 or even 2835 if you want more power Garret GT28R Otherwise the GT30 would be great, although these are rated at about 500hp which means you need to upgrade a few things first, IE injectors, fuel pump, ecu etc but that comes with any new turbo
  2. yeh 12psi is pretty much the safest high boost setting standard turbo doesnt make any more power after 12psi anyway, bout the only thing it does is put more oil in the catch can Hows the CES dump power wise?
  3. That first pic just needs some fatter sideskirts and possible mesh removed and nice big intercooler there
  4. sweet what turbo you running?
  5. Anyone got their skyline automatic gearbox modified? IE Shift kit/Stall converter/new clutches
  6. Just post them up mate, so it can be used for future references for anyone needing garret prices
  7. Cannonball europe 2004 has already passed, i have the movies of it on my computer.. IE the one where torquenstiens viper written off, awesome sierra cosworth written off.. they go through spain, africa etc there wasnt any skylines in it,
  8. Good question, Assuming the person who answers knows some details aswell, Maybe post some prices for say T3 Flanged GT25+ range and GT28R/GT30 if possible. I see massive fluctuations in prices for Garret turbos
  9. BEST suspension place handsdown fullstop is Fulcrum at morooka. They have good hoists that can get any car onto without damaging.. no matter how low. The staff are nice and professional and they have state of the art balancing/alignment equipment. Wouldnt take my car anywhere else, bobjane etc do too many family and shit cars they start to not take care with anything
  10. Yeh basically what everyone has said is the same; Autos only weakness on straight line speed is the take off. Some of those autospeed writeups are full of easy to make errors. But yeh, as waz said, another advantage is consistancy. Automatic these days arent what they used to be
  11. yeh it fits auto fine i got Trust VSPL kit and didnt notice any drop, there is a little when you floor it because theres extra length for pressure to go through
  12. Good spot roy, Yes ive noticed alot of discrepencies in heaps of japanese races like this one. They are good for a watch but thats about it. It doesnt make sence to me, how the R34GTR can finish 1st and the R32GTR finish last! Ive seen many a race on option/bm etc where they put some gtrs together and the 32,33 and 34 are all very close. So how the 32GTR can be last and the 34GTR first confuses me unless the entire pack was less than a few seconds apart which i doubt
  13. kinda sounds like swaybar creak, i got whitelines and they do this sometimes, its normal although i dont think it happens with standard ones
  14. not tht much, autos suck for drifting, track racing and cos they get hot quick but in terms of performance they arent that far off a manual. Get a stall converter, and you will be faster than the manual equivelant. ive pulled a few 2.1 60ft times the first time i ever went to the track, best ET of [email protected] running 0.7bar, stock turbo, no ecu, no dump, standard auto etc
  15. silver :aroused:
