Bugatti Veyron - 736KW 4 Turbo 8.0L W16!!
knore replied to knore's topic in General Automotive Discussion
ok well i was trying to start an optimistic discussion about an insanely technologically advanced car, obviously that didnt work and it IS still a concept mate, goto the bugatti website and have a read either way, thanks for ruining the thread, i didnt realise it has been around for ages, i simply thought it was insane and wanted to talk about it have a nice day -

Supra 7.906@180.77mph on BFG DR street tyres
knore replied to ljstt's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Yeh this car/time has me suspicious since i seen it on the supraforums in no way saying supras arent fast etc etc but i just dont understand how it can be that fast and weight that much with only 1000hp, HKS needed to use a Twin Turbo 2x3240 V8 engine and complete weight/drag car to run a similar time not to mention if this car is such a 'record breaker' like its been posted everywhere, then why the hell isnt there more information on it if i built this car ide want recognition! if all the stated information is true, then this car is truely insane and futhermore proves the strength of the 2JZ and supra in general -
Bugatti Veyron - 736KW 4 Turbo 8.0L W16!!
knore replied to knore's topic in General Automotive Discussion
well it certainly is still in concept, and its most definately not a new thing for cars not to make their expected and stated release dates its the first time all the stuff on that car has been put together as one package, who else has a W16 not V16, 64 valve 8.0L quad turbo 7gear 1000hp pasenger car almost ready for release? i doubt it would have 4 bov. most probably 1 for each 2 turbos, but there isnt any info on it hate on it all you want siks as you obviously dont like it, but i say props to bugatti for being so creatively crazy because thats how most of todays technology has been achieved. how anyone can not like this car is beyond me  back to drooling -
Bugatti Veyron - 736KW 4 Turbo 8.0L W16!!
knore replied to knore's topic in General Automotive Discussion
so your faulting a car thats still in concept stage? bugatti has done something completely original here, and with new technologies and designs comes many problems to overcome, thats how a great car is made lets talk about the engine, body, transmission, price, speed, power... not that its suspension still needs development (hence its still concept) or its release date has been moved because none of us have the funds to buy one anyway -
Where is the drain plug on the block to change coolant?
knore replied to knore's topic in General Maintenance
Yeh thats what i figured The problem is, the bolt is a 14mm, and was kinda worn to begin with so there was never much chance of getting it off If i moved the dump outta the way it would be easy, but thats alot of work just to flush the coolant ;p It says in the RB25 manual the radiator capacity is 8.4L, which is probably the entire system including the overflow bottle etc. Either way i did a fair bit of flushing and it only took 5L -

Annoyed? are you insane? Obviously 1000hp would be hard to control and harder to pass regulations Go read about it properly and watch the videos, there isnt any car in the world ide rather have especially watch the 4 turbo system video -
Not sure how many people have seen this, but i thought its definately worth making a thread for; Teaser: -Majority of the systems and mechanics are directly from F1 :uh-huh: -64 Valve 8.0L Quad Turbo W16 Engine with Electronic Constant variable valve timing, dry sump system borrowed from F1 -Produces 1000hp and has constant 4wd -Seven gear, dual clutch system, sequential shifting and paddle control that shift gears in 0.2sec and it looks fairly good too, i think we may have the worlds best car :burnout: Its a supposed pasenger car (still concept) with a cost of over 1 Million USD! :Paranoid: and thats just the beginning... check it out :burnout: http://money.howstuffworks.com/bugatti.htm http://www.bugatti-cars.de/bugatti/index.html You have to check out the movies too, this car is just amazing Go to www.bugatti-cars.de Choose "English". Along the top, click on "Models" Choose "Veyron 16.4" Choose "Engineering" Choose "Engine" Along the bottom, choose "Legends from 1001 HP" Click on video segments 1 through 7 in sequence. You may have to click the play button (small arrow) to get them to play initially

Where is the drain plug on the block to change coolant?
knore replied to knore's topic in General Maintenance
ok well i changed the coolant today only problem is the drain bolt on the block would not come off! it on there good and i couldnt get any good leverage to get it off. So i did the best to flush as much of the old coolant i could out, but for some reason it only took 5L of new coolant. So obviously there is still 3L in there Not that it makes any difference, but i like to do things right if im going to do it so i kinda feel jipped Owell, i mite wait for the new coolant to work its way in when the thermostat opens and then do another flush to get the rest of it -

Where is the drain plug on the block to change coolant?
knore replied to knore's topic in General Maintenance
thats exacly what i was looking for thanks gordon! also what exacly do i do with the heater? I drain the radiator and the block then turn the heater on to its highest setting? Im guessing more coolant will come out, and when it stops coming out turn the heater off... need 8.4L for rb25 Mite make a tutorial with pictures on how to change coolant when i do it today -
Hey guys, figure its time to give the coolant/radiator system a flush and replace with some nice tectaloy 90 Ive looked a few diagrams and used the search but cant find exacly where the drain plug is on the block for an r33 gtst? Ive been told by most people its not necessary to drain from the block aswell, but seeing this is the first coolant change in about 2 years i want to do it properly cheers

How dodgy is that! Ive seen car dealer owners and staff thrash the cars so much, we even went to one place and the guy had to move all these cars to get to the one we wanted to test drive, every single car was dead cold but he still proceeded to floor it like a maniac up the street just to turn around and come back again

Choices, choices...(tyres - opinions wanted)
knore replied to Bill's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Best combination from expeirence: Rear: Falken RT215 semislicks Front: Falken ST115 The RTs are about $320 a tyre for 17" 245-55 STs are a fair bit cheaper If the car is just a general daily driver with not much hard driving then just about any descent tyre will be fine -
Your right jay but did nissan intent on this being used to run at full power on dynos? After reading that ude think it would be ok
